How to Get Food in Smalland
There are two main ways to get Food in Smalland:
- Harvesting Food from the environment.
- Killing enemies.
The easiest Food to get is Edible Mushrooms -- they're easy to see from a distance and they are abundant in the area where you start the game.
Best Smalland Food
The best Food in Smalland is anything that is cooked with the Stone Oven as of Early Access version 0.1.155d. All of the Food that you can Cook with the Stone Oven shares the same stats of adding 70 Food and preventing loss of Nourishment for 720 seconds -- a full 12 minutes.
That said, it takes some time to unlock the Stone Oven. Your best option in the early game is the Mushroom Steak, simply due to the sheer abundance of Edible Mushrooms.
