Scars Above Hermes Door Code and Examination Zone Guide

As you explore the alien world in Scars Above, you'll come across your old ship, The Hermes. There's not only a locked door inside that you need a code for, but you'll also be confronted with an examination scene that requires a little bit of finesse to finish properly, which is where we come in. Scars Above Hermes Door Code and Examination Zone Guide

When you enter the Hermes, you’ll be presented with a locked door to open. Sure, you could look around and figure out the key for yourself, but why bother when we can tell you the code? Just in case, though, we will put how to get to the code first. So if you're just interested in going straight for the door code, you can scroll down a bit to find it printed in plain text for you. For everyone else, here's how to find it yourself, as well as make the most of your time on The Hermes again. 

As you enter the building, ignore everything else and head to your last left turn. Go into this room and watch out for the poison-spitting enemy waiting around the corner (or have your anti-toxin injection equipped, that works too). Take him out with your fire gun and then go into the room to find a keycard sitting on the ground. Take the card and head back to the main hallway. Before you head back towards the code-locked door, check out the room opposite the one you're just leaving. Inside, you'll find an upgrade for your melee attack that can really make a difference in the coming levels. 

In the room opposite the door with a code, you’ll be able to get your hands on a photo of you and your friend at graduation from the desk drawer in the corner. If you're interested in finding the code for yourself, you'll see it on the back of the photo as the date that you two graduated together. That being June 20th, '10. Head for the door and type in 06 20 10 to get through the door straight away. Be warned, though; you’ll miss out on a critical melee damage upgrade if you don’t go and get the keycard. 

How to Complete the Hermes Examination Zone

Through the door, you’ll have to reconstruct the events (if you haven’t already guessed them). Check out the display on the table as you enter to learn more about what has been going on since you left, and it's not pretty. Next up, you need to take a look at the laptop on the opposite side of the desk before finally examining the mutated and growing body of Mike in the bio-tube along the wall opposite the door. Mike is the only one of these challenges that should give you any trouble, and that's only because he has a hard-to-spot organ just above his heart that also needs to be examined, as well as the board on the bio-tube itself. 

Once you've put all the pieces together, you can figure out what you need to do next. Finish grabbing anything you missed, then head back out into the world to continue to search for your missing friend.
