Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - Savali Gold Bolts

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart does a great job of hiding its gold bolts, and you'll have to face a few challenges to obtain them. Insomniac really makes you work hard for that big head mode and other rewards. Regardless, here are the three gold bolts you can find in Savali.

Gold bolt 1 in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Around the eastern forest, there's a flying saucer, and you’ll have to chase it down! While using the hover boots, repeatedly press L2 to gather speed. Be aware of jumping obstacles as well. Once you get close enough to the fast saucer, press L1 to hook on. The gold bolt is yours. It's location may vary as it's moving around a surface area of the map, but it's hard not to notice.

Gold bolt 2 in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

The gold bolt can be found through a speed challenge in the eastern section of the map. It is inside a cavern with boost pads. Start north east near a giant red tree and a pool. You’ll see a rocky gate with the first boost pad and a yellow flag. Start boosting and hit the buttons on the way. Look at the wiring and use the boost pads to help steer you in the right direction.

If you hit all of the buttons in time, a portal will appear at the end of the path. It will instantly teleport you to your gold bolt. How cool is that SSD, huh?

Gold bolt 3 in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

If you’re early in the game, don’t go off gallivanting trying to find it. There's no use. Return later in the story and you’ll be sent down in the catacombs after a fight with Nefarious forces. On the right side, you’ll see a door that needs to be hacked. It's also under the convenient rocky stairway

Hack into the console to unlock the door with Ratchet's other robot pal Glitch. In this level, you'll be taking out some troublesome viruses. Make sure you understand that you can walk on walls with her spider-like feet. Pressing X can also release a discharge of energy, taking out foes around her. If you succeed, you’ll gain access to the last gold bolt!
