Pokemon Legends: Arceus is still a little over a week from releasing but unfortunately the game is already out in the wild. With the game in players' hands and the internet clamoring for every piece of information they can get their hands on we wanted to round up all of the new Pokemon that will appear in the Hisui region. In this Pokemon Legends: Arceus Every New Pokemon and Forms Guide we'll go over which Pokemon are getting new evolutions, which Pokemon are getting Hisuian forms, and which have new special forms.

We will be including pictures of the new Pokemon as they've been circling the internet so if you don't want to have these evolutions and new Pokemon spoiled then now is the time to turn away! As more information is revealed about the games including any evolution requirements we will be adding them below.

Each Pokemon's abilities, hidden abilities, EVs, and IVs will also be listed. It's important to note though that Pokemon do not have abilities in Pokemon Legends: Arceus so any shown below will be abilities once they become available to transfer to Pokemon Home.

Starting off strong we have Hisuian versions of the final evolution of each of the starter pokemon.

While this list is considerably shorter here are the new Pokemon that you'll be meeting on your visit to Hisui.

  • Kleavor is a Bug/Rock Type
    • Evolution Method: Black Augurite
    • This pokemon is a new evolution for Scyther. Instead of the usual metal sheen of his Gen 2 evolution Scizor, the Kleavor we see brings this Pokemon back to the stone age as he wields two giant rock axes as either hand.
    • Ability: Swarm / Sheer Force
    • Hidden Ability: Steadfast
    • EVs: 70 HP / 135 Atk / 95 Def / 45 SpA / 75 SpD / 85 Spe
    • IVs: 505
       
  • Overqwil is a Dark/Poison Type
    • Evolution Method: Use Strong Style Barb Barrage 20 times
    • This Pokemon is a new evolution for Hisuian Qwilfish. Not too much is different here but Overquill is bigger and sharper

    • This is a new evolution for Hisuian Sneasel. This Pokemon is much taller than its previous form and wields much sharper claws.

    • This is a new evolution of Ursaring. While Ursaring is known for the large ring on its belly the Ursaluna have a picture of a full moon on its forehead.

    • This is a new evolution for Stantler.

    • This is an evolution of the Basculin (White Stripe) that can come in both red or blue variants based on its gender.

Pokemon Legends Arceus New Hisuian Evolutions

A number of the Pokemon listed above come from Pokemon who have branched evolutions that rely on trades to evolve. Pokemon Legends: Arceus does not have multiplayer functionality for the trading of Pokemon, instead a trade evolution will likely be completed by using the item Linking Cord. In its description, it explains "A string exuding a mysterious energy that makes you feel a strange sense of connection. It’s loved by certain Pokémon."

Pokemon Legends: Arceus New Legendary Pokemon

The one entirely new pokemon we have is Enamorus. This new Pokemon is the fourth member of the Forces of Nature, also known as the Legendary Genies. The other members of this grouping are Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus from Gen V. Enamorus has its Incarnate form where it looks like a genie riding a cloud, and its Therian form is represented as a turtle with a snake for a tail.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus New Pokemon Forms

While not explicitly Hisuian forms the Dialga and Palkia that you encounter in this adventure get new forms when a certain item is used on them. These transformations are similar to the Origin forms that Kyogre and Groudon took on in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The new Dialga and Palkia forms are referred to as their Origin form.

  • To activate Dialga (Origin) you need to use the Adamant Crystal, its description is as follows "When used on Dialga, this large, glowing gem wells with power and allows the Pokémon to change form"
    • ​​​​​Ability: Pressure
    • Hidden Ability: Telepathy
    • EVs: 100 HP / 100 Atk / 120 Def / 150 SpA / 120 SpD / 90 Spe
    • IVs: 680
       
  • To activate Palkia (Origin) you need to use the Lustrous Globe, its description is as follows "When used on Palkia, this large, glowing orb wells with power and allows the Pokémon to change form."
    • Ability: Presure
    • Hidden Ability: Telepathy
    • EVs: 90 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 150 SpA / 120 SpD / 120 Spe
    • IVs: 680
    • There is also a third item that seems to be used on Arceus itself called the Legend Plate, its description is as follows "A stone tablet imbued with the essence of all creation. When used on a certain Pokémon, it allows that Pokémon to gain the power of every type there is."
