Nintendo Switch 2 US Pre-Order And Midnight Release Guide

While there was a brief delay Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will open in the US on Thursday April 24th. If anything like the Nintendo Switch release, or more recently the PlayStation 5 release, is sitting in peoples minds then you're going to want to be prepared going into Thursday to have the best chance at an early pre-order and a launch day Nintendo Switch 2.

Where To Pre-Order The Nintendo Switch 2 in the US?

The Nintendo Switch 2 will be available to preorder on Thursday April 24th. You'll be able to pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 at the Nintendo Store, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Gamestop. At the moment it doesn't look like there is an Amazon order option so you'll want to seek elsewhere.

On top of that we also know that Nintendo Switch Midnight Launches will happen at Best Buy and GameStop across the US.

You can register if you're 18 years or older, and accounts who have purchased a Nintendo Switch Online membership and a minimum of 50 hours of total gameplay as of April 2nd, 2025 will be prioritized
