Where to get Marauders Synthetic Scrap
Synthetic Scrap is acquired through two main sources:
Containers in Raids
Synthetic Scrap is a common item found during Raids. Loot plenty of containers and bodies and you’ll quickly come across a few Synthetic Scrap. This is the most fun method of acquiring Synthetic Scrap as it’s common enough to get while playing the game as you normally would, opening cardboard boxes and crates.
Scrapping items using the crafting system
Synthetic Scrap can also be acquired through scrapping certain items, with some items having a higher deconstruction chance than others.
One of the easiest ways to get Synthetic Scrap in a pinch is to load into a Raid, collect the free Pouch Rig since it contains Synthetic Scrap when Scrapped in the Crafting menu, and immediately leave the Raid area to return to the pre-game menu. While certainly monotonous to do repeatedly, if you only need to get a few Synthetic Scrap before suiting up for a full-on Raid, then it’s not too bad.
Although it does involve an investment, one of the best methods to reliably get Synthetic Scrap is to buy the M1 Flak Vest from merchants for $894 each and scrap them. The cost can certainly add-up, but you'll have stacks of Synthetic Scrap in no time!
