Metal Sheets and Reinforced Metal Sheets are highly valuable crafting components in Marauders, used to craft several important items, including better armour, stronger weapons, weapon attachments, and even powerful new ships. You’ll want to stay stocked up on these materials so that you can craft useful items consistently. Metal Sheets are also required to complete the Advanced Resupply Contract in the ‘Zero to Hero’ Core Contract series. Luckily, we have you covered with a guide on how to get Metal Sheets and Reinforced Metal Sheets, and all their uses currently in Marauders.
Marauders Metal Sheet Types
There are two types of Metal Sheets in Marauders:
Metal Sheets
Max Stack - 5
Value - $46
Scrap - None
Reinforced Metal Sheets
Max Stack - 3
Value - $531
Scrap - None
How to get Metal Sheets
Metal Sheets are acquired through two main sources:
Containers in Raids
Metal Sheet is a common item found during Raids, although it is more rare than Metal Scrap and Synthetic Scrap. Loot plenty of containers and bodies and you’ll quickly come across a few Metal Sheets. These can spawn in any type of container, including simple cardboard boxes so be sure not to overlook these common boxes.
This is the most fun method of acquiring Metal Sheets as it’s common enough to get while playing the game as you normally would, especially if you have luck on your side.
If you’re hunting for Metal Sheets specifically, you’ll want to bring a bag to increase your inventory space since one Metal Sheet will take up a whopping four inventory spaces.
Scrapping items using the crafting system
Metal Sheets can also be acquired through scrapping certain items, with some items having a higher deconstruction chance than others.
The following items can provide Metal Sheets when deconstructed:
Item | Scrapping Item Chances |
---|---|
BA Flak Vest | 35% Metal Sheet (40% Fabric, 25% Synthetic Scrap) |
Blowtorch | 35% Metal Sheet (40% Metal Scrap, 25% Junk Scrap) |
Bren Mk.2 | 40% Metal Sheet (40% Metal Scrap, 20% Junk Scrap) |
DP28 | 30% Metal Sheet (30% Metal Scrap, 25% Synthetic Scrap, 15% Junk Scrap) |
Liberator | 25% Metal Sheet (25% Metal Scrap, 25% Synthetic Scrap, 25% Junk Scrap) |
Light Stathelm | 30% Metal Sheet (35% Metal Scrap, 30% Junk Scrap) |
M1941 Johnson | 35% Metal Sheet (30% Synthetic Scrap, 35% Junk Scrap) |
M3 Flak Vest | 30% Metal Sheet (30% Metal Scrap, 30% Synthetic Scrap, 10% Junk Scrap) |
Riot Helmet | 30% Metal Sheet (30% Metal Scrap, 25% Synthetic Scrap, 15% Junk Scrap) |
Small Shield | 35% Metal Sheet (30% Metal Scrap, 35% Junk Scrap |
What you may notice is that the majority of these items are rarer, higher value items. If you’re on the hunt for Metal Sheets and you haven’t had any luck finding the material in containers, then you may have to scrap some precious items in return for this material.
This guide will be updated as more items are discovered.
How to get Reinforced Metal?
Reinforced Metal is acquired through one main source:
Containers in Raids
Reinforced Metal is a rare item found during Raids. Much like its lower-quality counterpart, you’ll mainly be getting this material through looting during Raids. Loot as many containers as you can find while in a Raid, hope you get lucky, and escape with your loot!
Reinforced Metal is more likely to be found in unique loot locations such as Vaults, the Depot (locked storage area) on the Terraformer map, or locked areas requiring lockpicks.
As with Metal Sheets, if you’re hunting for Reinforced Metal be sure to bring a bag to increase your inventory space since one Reinforced Metal will take up four inventory spaces.
Scrapping items using the crafting system
Although Reinforced Metal can also be acquired through scrapping certain items, there are currently very few items that do so, making scrapping items for Reinforced Metal a limited opportunity.
The following items can provide Reinforced Metal when deconstructed:
Item | Scrapping Item Chances |
---|---|
Heavy Stathelm | 40% Reinforced Metal (40% Metal Scrap, 20% Junk Scrap) |

Reinforced Metal is also likely to be used in the late-game ships such as the Heavy Frigate and Capital Frigate.
