How to get Gunpowder
Gunpowder is acquired through one main source:
Containers in Raids
Gunpowder is a rare item found during Raids. Loot plenty of containers and bodies and you’ll hopefully come across a few tins of Gunpowder. While Gunpowder can spawn just about anywhere, it seems as though it is more commonly found in ammo boxes and military-style crates.
Unfortunately, Gunpowder cannot be acquired through scrapping certain items, unlike Synthetic Scrap, for instance.
How to get Hi-Grade Gunpowder
Hi-Grade Gunpowder is acquired slightly differently to its lower-grade counterpart, with two sources of acquisition:
Containers in Raids
Given its higher quality, Hi-Grade Gunpowder can be found in containers in military zones, although it is still a rare drop. Once again, loot as many containers as you can find while in a Raid, hope you get lucky, and escape with your loot!
Crafting Hi-Grade Gunpowder
Unlike normal Gunpowder, Hi-Grade Gunpowder can be crafted, although it does require you to already have normal Gunpowder.
