Our Luma Island Cook Guide will go over how to become the ultimate chef, including how to get ingredients and what you'll need for each tier.

How to Cook

Cook in Luma Island is one one of two professions (the other being Brewer) that revolve around farming and turning your crops into new dishes.

All dishes are made on a Stove, which you unlock the crafting recipe for once you become a Cook and start the first quest. However, you also need a few other crafting stations to process certain ingredients:

• Flour Mill - Unlocks after starting the Cook quests. Turns 5 Wheat into 1 Flour
• Plant Oil Mill - Unlocks after starting the Skilled Cook quest. Turns 5 Sunflowers into 1 Plant Oil
• Sugar Mill - Unlocks after starting the Expert Cook quest. Turns 5 Sugarcane into 1 Sugar
• Chocolate Mill - Unlocks after starting the Expert Cook quest. Turns 5 Cocoa Beans into 1 Chocolate

Many crafting recipes make use of the above processed ingredients, so it's always worth making more every few days. Early ingredients often make a reappearance in higher tier recipes as well, so try and stock up on a range of crops.
