The Peculiar Poem is a riddle that is supposed to lead to the Holy Grail in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Found during a random fast travel event, you'll need to sweet talk your way into owning it. With no map, solving the riddle and finding the treasure can take an enormous amount of time. This is how to acquire and solve the Peculiar Poem in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

How to Get the Peculiar Poem

To obtain the Peculiar Poem, you need to stop during a fast travel event that details a man digging in the road that looks exhausted. This man in Bolak, and he currently has the verse. Not being able to read and having won it from a drunk monk during a game of dice, his scribe friend in Kuttenberg told him it speaks to the location of the Holy Grail.

You'll need to sweet talk him to get the poem for yourself. If you've had luck finding other treasure map loot, high enough scholarship, or charisma, you'll be able to get it. If you don't get it on the first try, you can meet Bolak again in future fast travel events.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Peculiar Poem text

From two magical peaks, that gaze into the heavens,

Like a thirsty pilgrim I set out upon the path.

Across a valley overgrown to the very edge of the earth,

There I shall drink from a spring that will not let me perish.

How to Solve the Peculiar Poem

This fast travel event can happen in either region. The fact that Bolek went to Kuttenberg to get help reading it, as well as the original owner being a monk, points to the grail's location being in the Kuttenberg region, especially between the namesake city and the Sedletz Monastery.

When looking at the Kuttenberg region map, there are no mountains present on it. The only thing that comes close to have two peaks that stare into Heaven is the chapel for the Sedletz cemetery, which has two towers.

There are multiple paths from there, but only one has water and appears overgrown, which is to the south of the monastery and east of Kuttenberg. There's also a path that leads directly to this area.

Wading around in the water you'll find a sunken chest. It's locked with a hard lock, so you may have to come back after you level your Thievery skill if you can't pick it. Inside you'll find the skill book The Strength of the Knight IV, a River Pearl Necklace, two Silver Cups, and 241 Groschen.

And that's how you solve The Peculiar Poem! Make sure to check out more of our guides for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II below.
