Jurassic World Evolution 2 Park

Like with any park-builder, your end goal in Jurassic World Evolution 2 is to build the ultimate dinosaur park for your guests. There's a lot of complex systems that go into that, but if you really want to attract guests you'll need to make sure something called Appeal is in tip-top shape. Appeal can lead to more guests coming to your park, which leads to more money to make things even better. With that in mind, we'll cover everything you need to know about raising your appeal.

There's really only one thing that ties into your Appeal level, and that's the dinosaurs you have on display. First things first, for anyone to visit your park you need to make sure all of your dinosaur enclosures are properly constructed and sealed. If you open the Control Center and look at the Management tab you can see a breakdown of your park's Appeal

Essentially every dinosaur in Jurassic World Evolution 2 has its own appeal points, and these contribute to a pool that goes up to 4000. Appeal is determined by a few different factors, including the quality of the reptiles you have in your park, the variety, and how visible they are to guests.

How to Improve Appeal in Jurassic World Evolution 2

There are 4 key ways to raise appeal - ensuring dinosaurs are visible, that you have a variety of them, that you're researching new ones regularly, and having a number of attractions for your visitors.

Make Dinosaurs Visible

Your first step should be to make sure all of your dinosaurs are perfectly visible, as nothing drags down Appeal more than people not being able to see your creatures. In order to do this, you'll want to keep enclosures on the smaller side; although you'll need to play around with the size for dinos that need more space. It's a good idea to place at least two Viewing Galleries or Platforms at each enclosure, positing them just right so as to cover the entire area.

Variety is Key

The next step to raising Appeal is making sure your selection of dinosaurs is varied, so you'll want a nice selection of both herbivores and carnivores. Keep in mind that you can place multiple dinosaur breeds in the same enclosure, but you'll need to make sure they can cohabitate. You can do this by clicking on a dinosaur and clicking on the cloud icon to bring up the Comfort tab, which will then list which other dinosaurs it's comfortable with. While you can certainly construct a ton of individual enclosures you do have limited space, so oftentimes it's a better idea to have dinosaurs cohabitate, when possible.

Improve Appeal Rating Through Research

If you click on any given dinosaur and go to the second to last tab, you can see that dinosaur's Appeal rating. Completing research and manifesting unique traits in dinosaurs can also help raise that Appeal rating. The more fossils you find and the closer you get to the perfect dinosaur specimen, the better your Appeal number will get.

Attractions Help Improve Appeal Too

The final thing that can influence Appeal is by building Attractions, like the Gyrostation or Park Tour, which can give guests a unique view of the dinosaurs. In order to construct these, of course, you'll need to have met the various requirements. For example, you'll need to have played on Isla Tacaño to unlock the Gyrostation.
