Vatican City is one of the first hubs that you'll reach in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Here you'll get your first taste of exploring a large area as Indiana Jones, interacting with a variety of different quests, and uncovering secrets hidden around every corner. While there are a lot of collectibles to obtain in the game here we'll focus on where to begin each Fieldwork, Discovery, and Mystery and how to find each of the collectible Ancient Relics, Lost Artifacts, and Medicine Bottles.
Use the map below to identify each of the different starting points for Fieldwork, Discoveries, and Mysteries. Once you have started any of these the game will prompt you with exact locations or regions to travel next.
Be sure to check out our review of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and why we believe it's a 10/10 game

The Serpent's Chest (TSC)
This quest unlocked after collecting "Voss Letter" when you later visit Thailand. This quest has you collecting items from Vatican City, Gizah, and Shanghai.
Travel to the Dig Site in the South-East of the map, this is where the bulldozer fell into the tomb as part of the story. Once in the large tomb chamber head downstairs using the steps on the side and you'll reach the multistory chamber that you would have needed to stealth/beat up a number of Fascists when you first came through here.
Drop down and into the waterand in the far South-West of this room you'll be able to see a small hole in the wall. While in the water travel East and hop up onto the pillar that's just sticking out of the water. Run and jump onto the little ledge and then crawl into that hole to obtain the Vatican City Secret Key.

This Discovery unlocks immediately after obtaining one of the ten Ancient Relics hidden across Vatican City. Once you collect all of the Ancient Relics from all across the game they unlock a secret door.

#3-#7 Can be found in the Underground Excavation Site - After leaving the tomb where the bulldozer crashes into the site proceed further until you reach a pit with a wooden beam above it that you can swing over. Instead of swinging over it lower yourself down to see a lower ledge with this Ancient Relic on it
- After the swimming portion you'll see a room through a crack that has a doorway boarded up with wooden beams. Use a torch to light this on fire and step through to reach the next Ancient Reliv
- In the next room from #4 where you see a room with water in the middle climb to the top of the room. You'll see a pressure pedestal and a bust you can use to trigger it. Open this gate to get the next Ancient Reliv
- Continue through the Underground Excavation Site until you reach the next swinging section. Instead of swinging across climb up to the beam and look up to see you can climb even higher. Up here is where you'll find the Ancient Relic
- In the next room look for the room with metal gates and more weight platforms. Put busts on the two weight platforms to reveal a breakable wall with the Ancient Relic behind it.
#8-10 can be found underneath the Fountain of Confession - Proceed through the Fountain of Confession until you reach the room with the swinging axe/pendulums. As you cross this area it will be to your left
- In the Gold Trial there is a Crawlspace to your left you can enter. Inside is another weighted platform that will open a door and take you to the Ancient Relic
- This can be found in the treasure room at the end of the Fountain of Confession
To make finding the Relics easier for yourself you can complete the House of God Mystery to obtain a document that will reveal all Relic locations on your map.
