How to Make Money in STALKER 2
There are really only two ways to make money in STALKER 2: completing missions and selling loot. Here's how to earn yourself some Coupons:
Completing Missions
As a general rule, most missions in STALKER 2 will reward you with some amount of Coupons (money) as you complete objectives. This can certainly take the edge off of repair costs, but it won't really be enough to keep your gear in tip-top shape.
Selling Loot
Selling loot is the best way to make money in STALKER 2. There are several ways to get loot, but only some of them are renewable.
Firstly, locations that you're visiting for the first time will often have some kind of loot in them. You'll earn a fair amount of money simply by picking up the items that you get while completing missions. Naturally, you should also take the time to explore any point of interest that you come across.
A second non-renewable source of loot is stashes. Stashes will pop up on the map as you explore new areas, kill enemies, and find notes or PDAs. Most stashes will have a mix of healing items, food, and ammo in them.
Finally, there are the renewable spawns. If you go into a point of interest that has enemies and it's not a story location, there's a good chance that the enemies there will respawn at some point. You can travel to various points of interest, kill enemies, and take their loot to sell it.
Your biggest money makers, by far, will be guns and artifacts. Guns can't be sold if they're in poor condition (indicated by a red badge on their item), but you can at least unload them and take the ammo. Artifacts can always be sold, although you might want to hold onto them for yourself to use later.
You can also sell excess food, medical supplies, weapon attachments, and ammo. If you're not using shotguns, then there's no reason to hold onto all of that buckshot and slugs that you'll pick up from enemies. Sell it instead!
