There's more to Chef RPG than mining ore and running your restaurant — you'll also want to constantly improve your situation in meaningful ways by learning new recipes and buying new cooking stations. Power Cells are one of the many tools you'll need for upgrades; in this guide, we'll tell you all about the basics of Power Cells.

What Are Power Cells in Chef RPG?

Chef RPG Power Cells are a special form of currency. As of Early Access Version 0.5, they are only used for upgrading certain buildings to our knowledge. Unfortunately, there aren't very many ways to get them right now — read on to learn more!

How to Get Chef RPG Power Cells

Unfortunately, the only way to get Chef RPG Power Cells is by completing random Bulletin Board Quests as far as we can tell as of Early Access Version 0.5. There does not yet seem to be any other way to get Power Cells other than by completing these quests.

Each day, three random quests are posted to the Bulletin Board and you can select only one of them. These quests can reward you with Credits, random ingredients, random equipment, or a random recipe. The final possible reward is 3 Power Cells — no more, no less.

The Bulletin Board can be found right next to the Town Center on the map. There are multiple Bulletin Boards spread throughout the town, but they all have the same quests every day.

Ideally, you should take the Power Cell quests at every given opportunity. You need Power Cells for your first house upgrade and second restaurant upgrade, and you'll have to complete 20+ Bulletin Board quests to get the amounts you need for the second wave of building upgrades.

There will probably be additional ways to get your hands on Power Cells in the future, but for now, it seems that taking the specific quests on the Bulletin Board are your only real option.
