HoloCure Collab Guide

HoloCure is a shmup roguelite with a lot of different weapons to collect as you deal with waves of brainwashed fans. And, while many of these are strong enough to do the job, it's possible to combine some weapons via "Collabs" into ones that are much more powerful. In our HoloCure Collab Guide, we'll go over how this is done and the various combinations that are currently available.

How to Get Weapon Collabs in HoloCure

To combine weapons, you'll naturally need to collect weapons first. These can be obtained via leveling up after collecting enough xp, or via boxes dropped by bosses. Once the right weapons have been obtained, they must also be leveled to their maximum rank. Weapon upgrades can also be obtained via leveling, or by using the anvils that occasionally appear after defeating regular enemies.

Once you have 2 weapons at maximum rank that can Collab, you must then keep defeating regular enemies until a golden anvil appears. Once one appears, running into it will give you access to the Collab menu. Weapons that can be combined will flash in the weapon list, and you have a chance to cancel if you want to decide a different weapon combo (many weapons have multiple other weapons they can collab with). Any Collabs that you have collected appear via the "Collabs" option in the pause menu for future reference.

Collab weapons take aspects of the 2 combined weapons, making them very useful for mowing down large groups of enemies. It also frees up a weapon slot, allowing you to pick up another via levels or item boxes. Because of this, it's always worth aiming to get a few Collabs as quickly as possible.
