Hogwarts Legacy Ghost of Our Love Quest Guide

There are a few quests in Hogwarts Legacy that make you scratch your head and this Ghost of our Love quest is one of them. You will get a quest from Scrope the house elf during the main storyline, which leads you to a friendly decapitated ghost that resides in a cave by the riverside. Within this cave, there will be a map located within a chest on the far right side of the cave. It will have a side quest icon above the chest, so it is very easy to spot. 

Once you pick up the map, it will be stored in your inventory for you to reference to complete the quest. You cannot use the Quest Tracker for this quest, so you will have to solely base the location you are supposed to go to on this map alone. The map shows the forbidden forest entrance, a bridge with a lit-up wand above it, and two floating candles off to the right side. 

How To Complete The Ghost of Our Love Quest in Hogwarts Legacy

By using the map given for the quest, it is easy to see the entrance to the Forbidden Forest. The bridge that is referenced on the map is directly across from the entrance to the Forest. You will need to wait until dusk or nighttime for the candles to appear. Using your Lumos spell, you will need to stand in front of the bridge, between the pathway and the Forbidden Forest entrance. 

The candles will appear and lead you into the Forbidden Forest. It seems that this quest is timed, as we followed them once prior and they disappeared seemingly out of nowhere, so make sure to keep up with the candles and to move as quickly as you can. 

The floating candles will lead you to an area not too far from the entrance of the forest, where you will see a little table with chairs pulled up next to it. The candles will automatically reveal the chest once you get close enough to the target area. 

Loot the chest, and the quest will automatically complete.
