Hogwarts Legacy Bridge Puzzle Guide: Viaduct Courtyard

Hogwarts Legacy is teeming with puzzles that can make someone go "hmm?" trying to solve and the Bridge Puzzle is one of them. In this Hogwarts Legacy Bridge Puzzle guide, we will discuss how to solve the puzzle located on the bridge near the Viaduct Courtyard. 

To the naked eye, this puzzle is almost invisible and very easy to miss whilst you are sprinting around Hogwarts. With that said, once you see it, it's pretty funny how you may have missed it early on. You will need to use the Viaduct Courtyard Floo Flame for the easiest access to this puzzle, but of course, you can always mark that fast-travel point and run to it if you have yet to actually unlock the flame. 

How To Solve The Bridge Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy

This is exactly where you should be to locate the puzzle, and as you arrive on the bridge you will notice two braziers on either side of the bridge. There are two things worth noting here. The first thing to note is that three of the braziers are not lit. So you are going to want to use a Fire spell, such as Incendio, to light them up. Once they are lit, make your way to the opposite side of the bridge (opposite of the Viaduct Courtyard Floo Flame). On the ground, you will notice some symbols with roman numerals corresponding to each symbol. This is the key to solving the puzzle. 

The Symbols and their numeral are as follows: 

• Triangle with 6 lines through it: I (1)
• Moon shape with 1 line through it: II (2)
• Triangle with a bullseye: III (3)
• Diamond with an X through it: IV (4)

The order in which you light the brazier and match the symbol to each of them does not appear to matter as long as the numbers are correct. To solve it, you will need to walk up to each of the braziers and light them with a fire spell in order to get the dial to click into the correct place. From there, you will need to interact with the brazier dial until the numeral matches the one shown on the key for that specific symbol. Here is what the puzzle should look like once it is solved:

Once all of the symbols and numerals have been matched to the key located on the ground, a door will open on the floor allowing you to climb down a ladder into a tunnel. There are a few chests down here with some decent loot, so be sure to look around before you leave.
