In this Hero's Hour Tide Faction Guide, I'll tell you what you need to know to get started with playing as the denizens of Tide Island.

Hero's Hour Tide Faction Guide - Basic Strategy

As you might expect, the Tide Faction is strong in ship-to-ship battles thanks to the Aquatic ability (available on four of its six units) which allows it to re-enter combat if knocked off a boat. It also has a unique resource called Pearls which need to be dug up in the world, but they can be used to increase your army's growth rate.

Tide's Unique Buildings are Temple of Tides, Pearl Market, and Pearl Shrine.

Temple of Tides

The Temple of Tides allows you to create Boats on any coastline with a nearby hero for free rather than having to spend resources building a boat at a Dock. Furthermore, you can teleport any hero from the Tide faction who is currently out at sea back to this town.

Pearl Market

This allows you to find Pearls on the map and trade said Pearls for upgrades to unit growth.

Pearl Shrine

The Pearl Shrine gives you one Pearl and increases the range of Pearl detection.

The Tide Heroes are Pyromancer and Seafarer.

Pyromancer Heroes (Conflux)

Pyromancers get the Conflux ability which summons some Elementals of a spell they cast.

Kop Laka / Ril Kani

Kop Laka and Ril Kani focus on building armies through various mechanics.

Geo Kama / Yuki Bit

Geo Kama and Yuki Bit are casters that make strong use of non-Elemental spells.

Tal Anak / Era Kala

Tal Anak and Era Kala are casters with a larger focus on Elemental spells and leveling up quickly.

Seafarer Heroes (Siren Song)

Seafarers get Siren Song, a powerful ability with a 4-day cooldown that lets them take control of some enemy units.

Neplata / Thesendia

Neplata and Thesendia are good for buffing your army and mixing in a bit of magic.

Kylianne / Ketkala

Kylianne and Ketkala are generalists that can do a little bit of everything.

Uptala / Panaya

Uptala and Panaya's main strength is growing armies with a bit of summoning mixed in.

Hero's Hour Tide Faction Guide - Unit Choices

Here are the unit choices you have to make for the Tide Faction.

Cannoneer or Harpooneer?

Cannoneers are slow, but they can use ranged AoE Knockback attacks on enemies to break formations. Harpooneer does the opposite -- it pulls enemies closer and can inflict Terror on them.

Seastinger or Ferryman?

The Seastinger is a Tank that can inflict Venom on enemies. The Ferrymen, on the other hand, is a slow-moving melee fighter with Knockback that can summon Skeletons from killed enemies once upgraded.

Canceri or Magmaral?

The Canceri focuses on melee AoE attacks and the Magmaral focuses on single-target Knockback attacks. Both of these units can take a fair amount of punishment in their own ways.
