Grow Exploration Tree

Grow: Song of the Evertree has a lot going for it, and no matter what move you’re in, there is an activity for you. There are tons of different worlds you can create using your alchemy and while gardening may take center stage, exploring the environments around you is just as important. This is how you’re going to find and make use of many of the game’s other features, such as fishing and treasure hunting.

Exploring Your Surroundings in Grow: Song of the Evertree

Every world you make from a seed is going to be a bit unique. In these worlds, you will find different types of fauna, flora, and even some puzzles to keep you busy. When you're not creating a world, you can go back down to the ground to explore the area around your town and see the Everkin. There are several things to find around the world, like hidden chests, bugs, fish, and even journals containing the lore of the game.

  • Journals can be found around your town areas and detail the downfall of Alaria.
  • Some chests will require gold keys to be opened, these can be bought on event days or from traveling Everkin.
  • You can adopt creatures and keep them in specified areas of your town.
  • Gain Book achievements through finding locations and journals.

There are achievements tied to all of these features, and without them, you won’t be able to fully experience the game.

Grow: Song of the Evertree Seeds & Caves

You will find that caves can pop up on your seeds; cave systems are great to jump into as you can find valuable ore and gems. This ore contains unique items that you can’t find anywhere else in the game. Some caves may be deeper than others and will even contain puzzles for you to solve.

You will also want to come back to completed seeds as they will produce new types of flora and fauna. You can interact with the animals to befriend them, and there are tons of different types of items for you to collect in the game. The only way to ensure you don’t miss these is by revisiting and exploring areas once they are done growing.

Finding Bugs and Going Fishing

As you explore the game, you are sure to run across several different types of bugs and fish that have made various worlds you created their home. You should make sure to capture the new ones you come across and stop to fish in ponds that have popped up as you grow your seed world.

Remember that if you don’t see fish in the water, then that means you aren’t going to catch anything.
Occasionally, a glowing spot will appear in the water; fishing there will give you treasure.
Bugs can be tricky, but it’s possible to sneak up on them; sneaking is available when you equip the net.
Be sure to take your time when trying to catch fish and bugs so you don’t lose them. The game is made to be relaxing, not hard.

Interacting With the Everkin

In addition to everything mentioned above, it’s highly recommended that you stop in at the Everkin village every so often. This is a place where you can trade off some of your finds for Evercoin, a currency that can be used to purchase items like essence or gold keys. There are even some bugs and fish that you can collect from the area.
