The God of War Jotnar Shrine Locations can be one of the trickier things to find in the game as they are not marked off on the map screen checklist, but that's why we're here to help! There's a total of 11 Jotnar shrines, 9 in Midgard, 1 in Alfheim and 1 in Muspelheim. You'll need to complete this to unlock the The Truth Achievement.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Locations - Midgard
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Hrungnir
After you fight your first Revenant in the River Pass, go to the shelf above the room from the fight and follow it all the way around to find the Hrungnir shrine.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Jormungandr
After meeting Brok and Jormungandr on the Lake of Nine for the first time, go down the walkway to the Lookout Tower, fight the enemies inside and then destroy the wooden barrier on the left side of the room. Vault over the obstacle and you'll be able to open the Jotnar shrine to Jormungandr.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Ymir
Inside the Mountain, after you fight the dragon, you'll come across a room with a bridge and a Nornir chest. Grabbed the spike ball of world tree sap from that room, turn back down the corridor and explode the sap barrier you just passed. Inside that room is the Jotnar shrine of Ymir. If you are returning to the mountain, go back through the cave after using the Mystic Gateway to get to the summit, make your way through rooms until you get to the one with the wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and the room with Ymir's shrine is just a short way down the hallway after you cross the bridge to head further into the mountain.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Thamur
After you get the chisel piece at Thamur's corpse, head back to the boat dock by the Mystic Gateway. Open the Hidden Chamber of Odin by the dock and enter to find the Jotnar Shrine of Thamur.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Skol and Hati
After you are able to return home, go back to the house and make your way around back, following the path through the Wildwoods. You'll come to a temple with two wolves on either side of the door. Go inside, break the planks in the way and you'll find the Jotnar shrine of Skol and Hati.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Bergelmir
In Tyr's temple when you head through the secret door to the Hall of Tyr on your way to flip the temple you'll enter a room with two massive statues (until you destroy them). Drop the floor down with the wheel in the middle and on the wall behind you is the Jotnar shrine of Bergelmir.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Skaldi
In Veithurgard on Otr's hill to the east you'll find a stronghold, barred by massive stone doors and locked with runes. Solve the runes and head inside, the Jotnar shrine of Skaldi is in the first room you enter.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Thyrm
On the Lookout Tower, after the water level drops for a second time, climb all the way to the second to last ledge of the area and you'll find the Jotnar shrine to Thyrm in the middle of a clearing, though you will have to fight some enemies before you can open it up.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Starkadr
In Konunsgard, which you unlock after completing two favours each for Brok and Sindri, you'll need to make your way to the stronghold and solve the puzzles to get inside. Once in, take the first right turn that you can, continue to the end of the corridor and you'll find the Jotnar Shrine to Starkadr.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Locations - Alfheim
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Groa
The Jotnar Shrine to Groa is located in Alfheim, on the island with the Ringed Temple. Once you get across the middle part of the bridge, you'll find Sindri's second shop here, and the shrine is just to the right of it.
God of War Jotnar Shrine Locations - Muspelheim
God of War Jotnar Shrine Location - Surtr
Fitting, as Surtr is the fire giant, that his shrine is in Muspelheim. Walk straight into Muspelheim from Tyr's temple and you'll see Brok's shop and a new Mystic Gateway. The shrine is to the left of the Mystic Gateway and almost impossible to miss.
