Final Fantasy VII Remake has hit PlayStation 4 after so much waiting. Players are starting, in the middle, or even ending their journeys but they want to make sure that they haven't missed anything along the way. This weapon guide will not only let you know what weapons are in the game and where to get them but will let you know the type of play that each of these weapons is built for and what ability your character can learn by becoming proficient with them. Let's jump right into our Final Fantasy VII Remake Weapon Guide.
Through Final Fantasy VII Remake you'll get six weapons each for Cloud, Tifa, Barret, and Aerith. While some of the weapons are impossible to miss you'll also find one or two that is well off the beaten path. In this weapon guide, we will be highlighting each character's weapons including how to get the weapon, the weapons ability, and what its upgrades gear it towards. The Weapon Abilities are good to know because while each weapon has a unique Ability if you use that Ability enough the characters can use them even when that weapon is not equipped.
Unlike some other Final Fantasy titles, there are no set roles in this game. The weapon that the characters are given will heavily influence their stats so while you will see each character skewing a certain direction towards a traditional "class" role there's still plenty of wiggle room if you want to change out who does what in your party.
