Fields of Mistria Resources Guide | How to Get Crafting Materials

In this guide, we'll tell you how to find the Fields of Mistria resources that you'll need to craft furniture and other useful items!

Most items you'll need in Fields of Mistria are fairly renewable and easy to get, but some items are a little more challenging to find such as Coral and Glass. This guide will tell you where to find the critical crafting resources you'll need for making some of the more useful items in the game.

Fields of Mistria Resources List | How to Get Crafting Materials

Here are all of the Fields of Mistria resources we've found and where you can get them. Keep in mind that this doesn't cover all of the items in the game; we have lists for other items such as fish and forageables in their respective guides — check out our other guides here!

Many of these resources will be randomly available for purchase at Balor's Cart in the south of Mistria.

How to Get Cattails

You can get Cattails in the ponds of the Eastern Roads. You can also buy Cattails from the Carpenter's Shop by taking the Tier 3 Woodworking Skill "Steady Supplies."

How to Get Clay

You can randomly get Clay by digging up the ground or breaking rocks in the Mines. Clay can also be purchased from the Carpenter's Shop.

How to Get Coral

You can get Coral by cutting up pieces of coral with your Sword in the Tide Caverns section of the Mines (floors 21–40).

How to Get Crystal

You can get Crystal by breaking crystals with your Sword in the Deep Earth section of the Mines (floors 41–60).

How to Get Glass

You can occasionally get Glass by breaking large rocks in the Mines and elsewhere; you'll need at least a Copper Pickaxe to break large rocks. You can also purchase Glass from the Carpenter's Shop.

How to Get Hardwood

You can get Hardwood by chopping down the large stumps found throughout the world; you'll need at least a Copper Axe to break these stumps. You can also randomly get Hardwood by chopping down trees.

How to Get Paper

You can get Paper by crafting it at The Mill. You can also purchase Paper at the General Store.

How to Get Peat

You can randomly get Peat by digging up the ground with a Shovel. It can also randomly drop in the Mines. Finally, you can get Peat by buying it from the Carpenter's Shop once you take the Tier 3 Woodworking Skill "Steady Supplies."

How to Get Shards

You can randomly Shards by digging up an artifact spot with a Shovel.

How to Get Shard Mass

You can randomly get Shard Mass by digging up an artifact spot with a Shovel.

How to Get Sod

You can randomly get Sod by digging up the ground with a Shovel. You can also randomly get Sod by breaking rocks in the Mines. Finally, you can buy Sod from the Carpenter's Shop once you take the Tier 3 Woodworking Skill "Steady Supplies."

How to Get Water Chestnuts

You can harvest Water Chestnuts in the water south of the Museum. They do not spawn during Winter.
