This guide will show you the Fields of Mistria map and give you details on all of the interesting things you can find in each zone.
There's a lot to explore in Fields of Mistria — the wilderness surrounding the town has plenty of opportunities for hunting bugs and catching fish. In this guide, we'll show you the map and explain what you can find in each zone.
Fields of Mistria Map
The Fields of Mistria map currently consists of nine distinct overworld zones, including your farm. Many of the zones are connected with multiple paths to other zones. Unfortunately, some areas of the map are locked behind obstacles that you'll have to work to clear.
Fields of Mistria Locations
Here are the notable locations you can find on the Fields of Mistria map.
Your Farm
Your farm is your home and the primary place where you'll grow crops and tend to your animals. There's not much of interest here aside from your house, the statue of the dragon Caldarus (where you can upgrade most of your skills), and the nearby river.
Unlike some other games in the genre, you can actually fish in the river on your farm. Don't wait around forever to catch fish, though; you can easily head to the north or west to find some more places to catch fish!
You can find Mistria to the north of your farm and Sunrise Farm to the west.
Mistria
The zone labeled "Mistria" is a massive area where most of the people work and live. You can find The Narrows to the west and The Eastern Road to the east.
There are a lot of buildings and points of interest in this one section; refer to the numbers on the above map for their locations.
1. Manor House
The Manor House is where Adeline and Eiland work and live. This is essentially the equivalent of the mayor's house or town hall in most other games.
2. Manor House Gardens
The gardens outside of the Manor House have some plants and trees that you can harvest for free at any time.
3. Blacksmith's Shop
The Blacksmith's Shop is the only place where you can smelt ores into bars and forge equipment such as new tools and armor. You can also purchase higher tiers of equipment once you've unlocked a new section of the Mines.
4. Fountain
The Fountain is a common gathering area throughout the day. You can often find stalls here during the Saturday Market or festivals.
5. Bathhouse
The Bathhouse is where you can go to fully restore your health and stamina at any time of day. Unfortunately, using its services will cost you 100 Tessarae.
6. Unknown Building with Bell
This unknown building is locked and has a bell in its upper floor. We don't yet know what it's for.
7. Town Square
The Town Square is another area where people will commonly gather. Shopping stalls can be found slightly north of it during the Saturday Market and festivals.
8. Clinic
The Clinic is where you can purchase medicine to heal yourself or gain beneficial buffs. You will wake up here if you lose all of your health in the Mines.
9. Unknown Building
A boarded-up building is attached to the right of the clinic. Unfortunately, we do not yet know its function.
10. Stables
The Stables to the west of the Sleeping Dragon Inn are currently unoccupied and serve no function yet as far as we can tell.
11. The Sleeping Dragon Inn
The Sleeping Dragon Inn is where you can cook food if you don't yet have a kitchen in your home. You can also purchase food and cooking recipes here.
Most of the village will gather here on Friday nights for the "Friday Night at the Inn" event.
12. General Store
The General Store is where you can purchase some basic equipment (such as a Shovel), some furniture, and seasonal seeds that you can plant on your farm.
13. Quest Board and Town Rank Rewards
The Quest Board is placed to the east of the General Store. Periodically, Quests from villagers will appear here that you can take. These Quests do not appear to have any expiration timer on them.
A special chest sits immediately to the west of the Quest Board. This is where you can pick up rewards that you get for increasing your Town Rank.
14. The Mill
The Mill is initially locked at the start of the game. However, you can open it up by completing a Quest and you'll gain access to new forms of crafting, including some that are particularly useful for ranching.
15. Balor's Cart and Event Board
Just outside of town is a small cart owned by Balor. This is where you can buy a random assortment of items and furniture crafting recipes.
To the right of Balor's Cart is a sign; this sign will inform you of any events that are happening at that time.
16. Celine's House
Celine lives in a standalone house to the southeast of the Mistria region.
The Narrows
The Narrows has three key points of interest and a lot of opportunities for foraging and fishing. From here, you can travel west to reach the Western Ruins, east to reach Mistria, and south to reach Sweetwater Farm.
Mines
The Mines are where you can go deeper into the earth to get ore and other unique items once you've unlocked them. You can also uncover the secrets of magic by exploring down here. Check out our Mining Guide to learn more about the Mines.
Museum
The Museum is where you can complete bundles in four categories for rewards such as unique cosmetic items.
Errol's Cabin
As the name implies, Errol's Cabin is where Errol lives. Just to the west of his cabin is a blocked cave passage; unfortunately, we do not yet know what this cave passage is used for.
The Summit
The Summit is the top of the northern cliffs. It has a single tree and a bush that might bear fruit depending on the season. Unfortunately, this area is blocked off at the start of the game.
You can get access to the Summit by progressing the Main Story Quests and completing the Quest "Beautification Project." This will open up the path to a few more forageable spawn points and a fountain that restores Stamina.
The Western Ruins
The Western Ruins are a group of ancient temple ruins to the far west of the region. The Narrows lie to the east.
Ruins
The Ruins are inaccessible due to damaged stairs. However, you can find some of the rare forageables in this area.
Dig Site
The Dig Site is an area where at least two artifact dig sites are guaranteed to spawn every day. You can eventually get a third artifact dig site to spawn by taking the "Western Ruins Scholar" skill in the Archaeology skill tree.
Sweetwater Farm
Sweetwater Farm is a large area that neighbors your farm. This is the place to go to get animals for ranching.
Your farm is located to the east of Sweetwater Farm; The Narrows are to the north and The Beach is to the south.
Hayden's Shop
Hayden sells animals that you can raise with ranching along with any necessary supplies that you'd need for them. (Constructing the buildings to house these animals is done over at the Carpenter's Shop in The Eastern Road.)
Chicken Statue
The Chicken Statue is an odd point of interest in the area. We haven't yet discovered its function, if any.
The Beach
The Beach is the southernmost area of Mistria. This is the easiest place to catch ocean fish (and perhaps the only place). The deeper waters will have several dive spots that you can explore, too. Sweetwater Farm is located to the north.
1. Isolated Cove
The northwest of this zone has an isolated cove has a Stamina-restoring fountain on it and a few spawn points for forageables. Unfortunately, this area is blocked off at the start of the game.
You can gain access to this area by progressing the Main Story quests until you reach the quest "Repair the Beach Bridge." Complete that quest and you'll permanently gain access to this area.
2. Tackle Shop
The Tackle Shop is where you can purchase fishing rods and a small selection of fish.
3. Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is currently locked and we haven't yet discovered how to open it.
4. Blocked Cave
A blocked cave sits at the northeast of this zone, similar in appearance to the blocked cave next to Errol's Cabin in The Narrows. Unfortunately, we haven't yet figured out how to open it.
5. Small Island
A small island sits to the southwest of this region. You can reach it by swimming over there. The island has a single palm tree and not much else of interest, although you may be able to catch a few fish from the shore.
The Eastern Road
The Eastern Road is where you first start your adventures in Mistria. The bridge leading into town has been damaged, but you'll eventually be able to repair it. Mistria is to the west and the Deep Woods are to the north, although the Deep Woods are currently blocked off.
Eastern Road Entrance
The Eastern Road entrance is where you first start the game.
Carpenter's Shop
The Carpenter's Shop is where you can purchase basic crafting materials such as Wood and Stone. You can also buy a Crafting Station and a Kitchen to allow you to craft items and cook at your house.
Additionally, the Carpenter's Shop is where you can buy blueprints for Coops and Barns which can be used for ranching. Aside from the purchase cost, you will also have to supply additional construction materials once you've decided where to place them.
Fountain
A Fountain is located behind a large rock to the north; drinking the water will restore a small portion of your Stamina once per day. You can access this area by breaking the large rock with a Copper Pickaxe.
Wishing Well
A Wishing Well sits to the southwest and is behind a large rock that can be broken with a Copper Pickaxe. Once a day, you can choose to donate nothing, 100 Tessarae, or 500 Tessarae and you will get a random item in return. Thus far, I've seen food items and random cosmetic items.
Ponds
The waters in the southern area of The Eastern Road are one of the best places to catch fish in the "Pond" category.
The Deep Woods
Unfortunately, The Deep Woods is blocked behind impassable vines, so we have not yet been to that area.
