ELEX 2 Attributes Guide

The staple of RPG's - attributes are what govern your characters ability to deal and take damage, as well as what you can equip and do from an abilities standpoint. In ELEX 2, your attributes are directly tied to conversational options as well as what abilities you can learn from trainers with skill points. ELEX 2 Attributes Explained

Each attribute is tied to weapons and/or armor, abilities you can learn, and even what faction abilities you can learn. As you increase your attributes in ELEX 2, you'll also see the requirements increase as you go up in attribute level.

Strength Attribute

• Stat Gain: +1 Melee Damage every 5 Levels
• Required for: Most Melee Weapons, Heavy Weapons, Shields
• Required for Faction Abilities: N/A

Constitution Attribute

• Stat Gain: +1 Max HP every 5 Levels
• Required for: Melee Weapons, Heavy Weapons, Shields
• Required for Faction Abilities: Alb, Berserker, Morkon

Dexterity Attribute

• Stat Gain: +1 Ranged Damage every 5 Levels
• Required for: Some Melee Weapons, Ranged Weapons, Heavy Weapons
• Required for Faction Abilities: Cleric, Outlaw

Intelligence Attribute

• Stat Gain: +1 Magic Damage every 5 Levels
• Required for: Some Ranged Weapons
• Required for Faction Abilities: Alb, Berserker, Cleric

Cunning Attribute:

• Stat Gain: +1 Critical Damage every 5 Levels
• Required for: N/A
• Required for Faction Abilities: Cleric, Outlaw

How To Get More Attribute Points In ELEX 2

There are 3 ways to get more Attribute Points in ELEX 2:

• Gain Levels: You'll gain 10 AP every time you level up.
• Learn The Attribute Ability: You'll gain 1 additional AP with every level gained (Requires 50 Intelligence)
• Drink Medium Elex Drinks: You'll gain 1 AP each.

  • You can find them around the world.
  • Some traders (such as the Alchemist across from Tilas in The Berserker Fort) sell them.

The earlier you can get the Attribute Ability, the better off you'll be as well. Note that bonuses from items and mods DO count towards the total to allow you to learn! See our ELEX 2 Skills guide for more ideas.

Manage ELEX 2 Attribute Points Effectively

As mentioned before, with every 5 levels you grow - you'll gain an additional bonuses to things like Damage or HP. When you hit certain "Base Levels" - you'll also see the AP requirement go up depending on the level you're at, as seen below:

• Attribute Level 0-40 - 1 AP per level
• Attribute Level 40-60 - 2 AP per level
• Attribute Level 60-100 - 5 AP Per Level

ELEX 2 Attribute Point Potion List

If you're someone who explores every nook and cranny of a game, you'll find all of the Attribute Potions littered throughout the world. If you want to fully max out your Attributes in ELEX 2, however, you'll also want to craft them and use them (as noted above) once you cross Base Level 60. All recipes below require Chemistry 3.

• Medium Elex Drink - +1 AP
  • Large Elex Drink Recipe: 10 ELEX, 1 Wine Required to craft one
• Warrior Potion - +1 Strength
  • Potion of Strength Recipe: 20 Dark Elex, 1 Forest Troll Heart
• Iron Skin Potion + 1 Constitution
  • Potion of Constitution Recipe: 20 Dark Elex, 1 Mountain Troll Heart
• Marksman Potion - +1 Dexterity
  • Potion of Dexterity Recipe: 20 Dark Elex, 1 Cyclops Heart
• Mage Potion + 1 Intelligence
  • Potion of Intelligence Recipe: 20 Dark Elex, 1 Behemoth Heart
• Thief Potion - +1 Cunning
  • Potion of Cunning Recipe: 20 Dark Elex, 1 Troll Heart

Quick Tip: You can farm Skyands around the different formers for Dark Elex, and the monsters needed for the additional items do respawn throughout the map, ESPECIALLY after you've beaten the game.
