Elden Ring Crafting Guide

Elden Ring has players exploring the Lands Between, fighting a wild array of enemies, and dying over and over again. You can increase your chances in the world by using a variety of different consumable items or by just avoiding getting too close in combat by using arrows. You can craft a variety of these items to give yourself a better chance. In this Elden Ring Crafting Guide, we'll explain how to craft items, where to find cookbooks, and what materials the recipes will require.

How can I craft in Elden Ring?

In Elden Ring, you can begin crafting as soon as you've purchased the Crafting Kit From Kale the merchant. If you're looking for Kale you can find him at the Church of Elleh in Western Limgrave. By purchasing the Crafting Kit you'll get access to the Crafting menu but you'll also still need to get Cookbooks so that your character knows how to create those items.

The crafting items that you create are a mix of items that can cause damage, buff your player character, or have world effects like creating markers or increasing the rate of rune collection.

Where can I find Cookbooks in Elden Ring?

There are over 35 cookbooks that are hidden throughout the world of the Lands Between. You can either obtain these Cookbooks through natural progression and exploration, but you can also find merchants to purchase a lot of these Cookbooks from. Looking for more?
