Drova An Uninvited Guest Guide

Our Drova An Uninvited Guest guide will go over the different paths you can take to complete this quest, along with the rewards for each.

Talking Agilo next to one of the campfires in the Woodcutter Camp is required as part of the quest Labor for the Bridge. However, completing this quest leads you into a separate quest called An Uninvited Guest.

Ask Agilo about the missing food and you’ll be tasked with figuring out if someone has been stealing from the camp's supplies. Talking to Cengiz (the man near the stall to the west of Agilo’s original location) will now give you the option to ask about the thief. He’ll tell you that he thinks he’s seen someone during the night by the pits.

Rest in the nearby bed until 10PM, then head to the food pits to find a man called Owain. As with most quests in Drova, you have a few options with how you can deal with Owain, each giving different rewards.

Attack Owain

Drawing your weapon will make Owain wary, but you’ll always get the first hit in. He’s not too tough, but we’d recommend using a shield regardless.

Looting him after he’s down nets you the Ring of Violence (+1 Strength), an Ordinary Mushroom, an Apple, and 22 Coins, along with the 70 XP for beating him.

He’s not actually dead though, and you can tell him to leave before heading back to Cengiz. Talking to Cengiz one final time nets you 50 more Coins and 180 XP (dialogue choice doesn’t matter).

Help Owain

If you keep talking to Owain repeatedly, you’ll eventually be given the option to convince him to rejoin the camp as a worker, netting you 70 XP. After doing this, sleep until morning then head west along the road to find Owain again. He’ll head to Cengiz and you’ll have one final choice.

Both choices will get you 50 Coins and 150 XP, but choosing not to rat out Owain will let you obtain the Ring of Violence (+1 Strength) if you talk to him again afterwards.
