Digimon Survive Enlightenment Slab Guide

Digimon Survive has a lot to do with the Visual Novel adventure of the lost school children and their adventure to stay alive and make their way home. The other side of the Digimon Survive coin is in the strategy battles and in raising all of your Digimon. In order to Digivolve your Digimon though you need what are called Enlightenment Slabs. In this Digimon Survive Enlightenment Slab Guide, we'll go over what these slabs do, and how to effectively farm them allowing you to create a team of powerful Digimon.

What is a Digimon Survive Enlightenment Slab?

Enlightenment Slabs are used to digivolve your party Digimon into more advanced forms. Unlike the partner digimon of the human children, which you can Digivolve and De-Digivolve at will during battle, once a recruited Digimon Digivolves it stays that way. It will have increased stats and abilities making it the perfect addition to your team. Each Digimon can digivolve through the regular stages, and some also have an extra highest form of digivolution. The stages that a Digimon will go through are as follows:

Free (Rookie) -> Champion -> Ultimate -> Mega -> Ultra

You need to have a different Digivolution item to obtain a new level so you'll be wanting to keep an eye out for a number of these Enlightenment Slabs.

• Free -> Champion - You'll need a Mature Enlightenment Slab
• Champion -> Ultimate - You'll need a Perfect Enlightenment Slab
• Ultimate -> Mega - Ultimate Enlightenment Slab

How to use Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

Once you have obtained an Enlightenment Slab you'll be able to Digivolve one of your recruited Digimon depending on the level of Enlightenment Slab you're in possession of. 

1. Open your Pause Menu
2. Select "Status"
3. Select the Digimon that you wish to Digivolve
4. Move to the Evolution Tab
5. Select the Evolution that you want to Digivolve into (Some Digimon may have multiple so be sure to check their stats and abilities for the one you most like the look of)
6. Once you select the Evolution you'll be asked if you wish to use the item, and warned that once used the Digimon will not be able to devolve
7. Now your Digimon will digivolve 

Where can I find Mature Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

Starting in Part 2 you'll be able to fine a few Mature Enlightenment Slabs. These will come as rewards in battles or through natural story progression.

There's a guaranteed Mature Enlightenment Slab if you investigate the Shrine doors.

How to farm Perfect Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

A reliable way to farm the Mature Enlightenment Slab is to get into battles with Leomon and Dobermon. (Thanks @BattleProfessor on Twitter)

1. Once in a battle with Leomon and Dobermon use the Talk action on it as if you were trying to recruit it.
2. Answer his questions correctly (All questions and answers listed below)
3. Instead of selecting the Recruit option ask for an Item
4. The Digimon will always give you a Mature Enlightenment Slab.

You can repeat this over and over against these Digimon in order to work towards your team full of Champion level Digimon.

#044 - Leomon

Where can I find Perfect Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

Starting in Part 6 after you've reached the North Island you'll start obtaining these Perfect Enlightenment Slabs.

How to farm Perfect Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

A reliable way to farm the Perfect Enlightenment Slabs is to get into battles with Monzaemon, the large yellow bear, or MagnaAngemon.

1. Once in a battle with Monzaemon or MagnaAngemon use the Talk action on it as if you were trying to recruit it.
2. Answer his questions correctly (All questions and answers listed below)
3. Instead of selecting the Recruit option ask for an Item
4. The Digimon will always give you a Perfect Enlightenment Slab.

You can repeat this over and over against Monzaemon in order to work towards your team full of Ultimate level Digimon.

These can be obtained in Free Battles in the late game of Digimon Survive where MarineAngemon shows up. 

How to farm Ultimate Enlightenment Slabs in Digimon Survive?

A reliable way to farm the Ultimate Enlightenment Slabs is to get into battles with MarineAngemon.

1. Once in a battle with MarineAngemon use the Talk action on it as if you were trying to recruit it.

4. The Digimon will always give you an Ultimate Enlightenment Slab.
