How to Unlock Cult of the Lamb Map Locations

Cult of the Lamb has a map that won't be revealed until you unlock the Lonely Shack, the first location. Once that's done, you'll be able to unlock additional locations as you progress through the game.

 

How to Unlock Lonely Shack

You can unlock the Lonely Shack by meeting Ratau in a random event in Darkwood. This also unlocks the ability to play Knucklebones.

How to Unlock PIlgrim's Passage

You can unlock Pilgrim's Passage by meeting The Fisherman in a random encounter in Darkwood. This also unlocks Fishing.

 
 

How to Unlock Spore Grotto

You can unlock Spore Grotto by meeting a Mushroom Cultist in Anura in a random encounter. This will eventually lead you to the Brainwashing Ritual.

How to Unlock Smuggler's Sanctuary

You can unlock Smuggler's Sanctuary by meeting Plimbo in Anchordeep in a random encounter.

You can unlock Mida's Cave by finding the golden advertising sign for it in Silk Cradle as part of a random encounter.

How to Unlock Darkwood

You can unlock Darkwood

 
 

by interacting with the statue of The One Who Waits north of the Cult with at least 1 Follower in your Cult.

How to Unlock Anura

You can unlock Anura by interacting with the statue of The One Who Waits north of the Cult with at least 7 Followers in your Cult.

How to Unlock Anchordeep

You can unlock Anchordeep by interacting with the statue of The One Who Waits north of the Cult with at least 9 Followers in your Cult.

How to Unlock Silk Cradle

You can unlock Silk Cradle by interacting with the statue of The One Who Waits north of the Cult with at least 12 Followers in your Cult.

 
 

How to Unlock The Gateway

You can unlock The Gateway by defeating all four Bishops.

Cult of the Lamb Dungeon Encounters

These locations can be found in the rooms of a dungeon during a run.


Cult of the Lamb Map and Locations Guide - Clauneck's Tarot Tent

Clauneck's Tarot Tent

Clauneck will deal a Tarot Card to you at least once per combat area. You also have the option to view all of the Tarot Cards you've unlocked. Later in the game, you can spend additional money to get an extra Tarot Card choice if you wish.

The Statue of the Beast

The Statue of the Beast is a white statue surrounded by bags of Coins and Gold. Donate Coins to the Statue of the Beast and it will return resources to you like Wood and Stone.

Do not attempt to steal the gold surrounding the statue and donate it -- it will make the Statue angry, and you won't like it when the Statue is angry.

Diseased Tree

Chopping down the Diseased Tree will give you a small portion of Wood and, more importantly, a Diseased Heart that will stick with you for the rest of the run (until it's depleted).

Forneus' Shop

Forneus allows you to take one of several items for free; this is also where you can buy the Ambrosia Tarot Card.

Rakshasa's Restaurant

Rakshasha's Restaurant allows you to take one of three bundles of Food for free. There are also two secrets in this area:

  1. You can kill the patrons and destroy the furniture for Food.
  2. You can attack the giant snail. Repeatedly do it and it angers Rakshasa, causing him to attack you. Defeat him in a fight and you'll unlock the unique Decoration item the Massive Mushroom Shrine.

Ratoo Searches for His Heart

Enter the Heart Icon on the map while carrying a Diseased Heart and Ratoo will ask for it. Give it to him, and he will be so grateful that he'll permanently increase your health by half a heart.

Ratau Increases Loyalty

A spider named Ratau will increase the Loyalty of any one of your Followers at no cost.

Ratoo will issue you a challenge, such as not taking any damage for 3 rooms or not using any Curses for 3 rooms. Succeed, and you'll be rewarded.

A Lingering Presence Curses You

Interacting with this altar will curse you with some kind of random penalty, even if it's in the area of a Bishop you've already killed.

A Choice of Hearts

You'll encounter two pedestals with Hearts on them. Pick one to carry for the remainder of your run.

The Chest Room

One of the ? Events you can encounter is a room filled with Chests. Having the Rabbits Foot Tarot Card can be especially helpful here as you'll likely get several high-quality chests.
