The Passage is the endgame biome of Core Keeper. Hard to enter, it's filled with high level enemies that can quickly decimate your health. Learn where to go and what to search for with this Core Keeper The Passage biome guide.

Where to Find The Passage Biome in Core Keeper

The Passage is the final biome found in Core Keeper. It rings the map outside the Shimmering Frontier. It has extremely hard Fossil Blocks that you'll be unable to mine when you first come across them. You'll need to have at least 1,700 mining damage just to start being able to break them down.

However, you don't have to mine Fossil Blocks to get into The Passage. There are many openings between the Shimmering Frontier and it, so you can build a bridge or place blocks down the wall until you find a way in. Additionally, unlike other ores, Pandorium Ore isn't found in the walls. There are ore deposits, including Pandorium Ore Boulders, found in the open spaces across all parts of The Passage.

The Passage Biome Plants

There are no edible plants found in The Passage. There are many decorative Feather Trees, Sulfur Trees and Barnacle Grass of various colors and sizes.

Core Keeper The Passage Biome Guide | List of Enemies

There are two main enemies you need to keep and eye out for while exploring the Passage. While dark colored, their bright eyes and sulfur pods announce their presence before they get a chance to run into you.

Colossal Amoeba

The larger of the two foes, the Colossal Amoeba will run into and over you, dealing damage. It drops Cytoplasm when defeated.

Sulfur Worm

The Sulfur Worm is a quick moving creature that drops activated sulfur pods in its wake. You want to attack these at range as the pods will explode, dealing 400 damage per pod. While the worm itself deals normal damage when it runs into you, these pods can quickly cause your death.

Who is the Boss of The Passage?

The boss of the passage is Urschleim. It travels around the map in The Passage and can be tracked with a scanner. It appears as a giant mass with three eyes, with the main body of the boss appearing when the eyes are destroyed.
