Call of Duty Warzone Shooting

Having access to a solid firearm in Call of Duty: Warzone is almost as important as being skilled at the game. Even the best players won't make it very far if they are running around with subpar weapons with no attachments. In Season 4 certain weapons have been nerfed or had their stats boosted to the point that the meta has almost completely changed. Players should follow this guide if they want to know which loadouts they should bring with them into combat.

Call of Duty: Warzone Best Loadouts - Grau 5.56

This assault rifle isn't as impressive as it used to be thanks to a recent nerf, but it is still an extremely reliable option. It may not be able to put out as much damage as it did pre-nerf, but the Grau 5.56 is one of the most precise assault rifles in the game. Players can also increase the accuracy by adding on a Monolithic Suppressor as well as a decent stock. This is the weapon of choice for players who want to score more headshots in the heat of the moment.

Call of Duty Warzone Bruen Mk.9
The Bruen Mk.9's high rate of fire makes it near unstoppable.

This may be an LMG, but with the proper attachments it has the potential to be a very effective weapon in the hands of even unskilled players. Like most LMGs the Bruen Mk.9 has terrible mobility, but it sports a high rate of fire and has little recoil for such a large weapon. This makes it easy to quickly and accurately hit enemies at a distance. Players can also make the Bruen even more effective by adding a decent stock to make it more mobile, and then also upgrade it to a 200-round magazine. With that amount of ammo, players will almost always come out of a fire fight with more rounds to spare.

Call of Duty: Warzone Best Loadouts - M4A1

Players have long considered this to be one of the best weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone. It was actually the weapon of choice before the Grau was introduced. Now that the Grau has been nerfed, the M4A1 has made a little bit of a comeback as one of the most versatile weapons in the game, since players can customize it perfectly to their needs. If they want a compact short-range weapon, there are stocks and barrels that optimize the M4A1 for short-range combat. Players can also stick a longer barrel and a scope on it and have an effective long-range assault rifle as well. The M4A1 is perfect for any player's arsenal regardless of skill level.

Call of Duty Warzone HDR
The HDR is the perfect choice for players who want to take their enemies out from a distance.

Call of Duty: Warzone Best Loadouts - HDR

Those who enjoy sniping other players from hundreds of yards away should definitely pick the HDR. It isn't quite as versatile as other sniper rifles, but its bullet velocity and damage output outclass other rifles by a long shot. The bullet travels so quickly out of the barrel that there is hardly any bullet drop at all when firing from a distance. This means that setting up headshots is extremely easy no matter the distance. Players who carry the HDR and the M4A1 or the Grau are almost unstoppable.

Call of Duty: Warzone Best Loadouts - Origin 12

Shotguns aren't usually something that players use often in Warzone. Most firefights are ended by whoever can fire the fastest or from farthest away, so shotguns typically fall to the wayside. The upside here though is that most players aren't prepared for their enemies using a shotgun, so the Origin 12 is an excellent choice. It may not do as much damage as other shotguns, but it has great range and an incredible rate of fire. Smart players can use the Origin 12 to clear out an entire enemy squad before they even know what hit them.

Players should ultimately pick the weapons that they are most comfortable with.

Call of Duty: Warzone Best Loadouts - Which Weapons to Choose

Any of these weapons are viable options for players in Call of Duty: Warzone, but it's best to choose the ones that is best suited to the player's individual playstyle. Those who like to fight up close and personal may want to grab the Origin 12 and the Grau. Others still may like the long-range capabilities of the HDR and the Bruen. The trick here though is to ensure that both weapons in a player's loadout use different kinds of ammo and enable them to be as versatile as possible during combat. At the end of the day though players should pick the weapons that they are most comfortable with and have the most success with while playing.
