As you explore each of the rooms of the house in Blue Prince you'll start to notice some similarities with the different sets of painting that will appear. You might see a room with a grandfather clock next to a locket, or two playing cards being held up. The secret of these pictures ties to a number of others present in the world of Blue Prince.

Hint #1 - More information on this puzzle can be found in the Study

Hint #2 - Are the pictures always the same when you draft the same room?

Hint #3 - The Study tells us that we need to see what letter is missing when we compare the two words

Hint #4 - A picture in one location might mean one word, but a different word is a separate room. I.e Wheat vs Grain can both use the same image

Each painting is of two words that share the same letters but one. The Study Hint tells us that the two cards hanging on the wall in the Entrance Hall represent 'Face' and 'Ace'. The letter missing from them is F.

If we compare every room we get the following message "IF WE COUNT SMALL GATES EIGHT DATES CRACK EIGHT SAFES"

This clue is crucial in order to understand the format of the codes used to unlock some of the different safes around the house the contain Red Letters and gemstones that will make your continued exploration just a bit easier.
