What Are Godlike Abilities?

Godlike Abilities are different from the regular Abilities in Avowed. You don't need to spend any Ability Points to get them — you'll automatically acquire them at certain points in the main story as long as you make the correct decisions.

There are two kinds of Godlike Abilities: Active Godlike Abilities and Passive Godlike Abilities. Active Godlike Abilities are added to your Hotbar, and Passive Godlike Abilities give you a permanent bonus such as increased Health or greater Damage.

You start the game with a passive Godlike Ability called "Divine Thorn" which gives you a stealth kill attack, but all future Godlike Abilities are determined by the choices you make.

Deciding Whether to Accept a Power from Sapadal The Voice in Avowed
Sapadal (first known to you as The Voice) will give you the choice of whether to accept their power or not at multiple points in the story.
