Avowed Emerald Stair Map

Emerald Stair is a land in Avowed that is divided in two. On one side are the rolling plains surrounding the main city of Fior mes Iverno, and the western side is dominated by swampy land that has been overrun with Dreamthralls and other creatures. Fortunately, you can head into Fior mes Iverno right away.

Notable Emerald Stair Locations

Here are the notable locations you can visit in the Emerald Stair region in Avowed.

Damp Burrow

The Damp Burrow is where you'll find a Fragment of Starmetal, among other treasures. Just don't go in unprepared — there are some tough fights to be found here.

The Delemgan Glade

The Delemgan Glade is home to several Delmgan, dryad-like creatures who protect the forest and its creatures. You'll need to visit this location in order to get an item you need for advancing the Main Story Quest.

Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market is likely the first place of note you'll visit once you start exploring Emerald Stair. It has a handful of shops and some opportunities for Side Quests, but the merchants don't have much to offer.

Fior mes Iverno

Fior mes Iverno is the veritable capital of Animancy in The Living Lands, but not everyone agrees with its practices. It is here that you will first meet Giatta, your third Companion and the first real option for healing with magic in combat.

Fior mes Iverno also has docks to the south where you can find some questionable merchandise on offer.

Fortified Xaurip Camp

The Fortified Xaurip Camp is home to a man who has managed to tame some Xaurips. Unfortunately, he is using them to attack the Animancy equipment of the farmers, and you'll have to decide who to side with in the Side Quest "Nature vs. Nurture."

Naku Tedek Grounds

The Naku Tedek Grounds are Godless Ruins that also happen to hold a shrine to the mysterious Voice that has been granting you Godlike Abilities.

Ranger Headquarters

As the name implies, the Ranger Headquarters is where the Emerald Stair Rangers are headquartered. You can find a bit of loot here and some other interesting opportunities if you explore it.

Riverside Cave

The Riverside Cave is located next to the Moldering Godless Ruins. You'll find starving Paradisan Rebels inside, and you may be able to peacefully come to a deal with them if you made the right choices at the end of the first act.

Tama's Cabin

Tama's Cabin is the former home of Tama, a late friend of your Companion Kai. Kai asks you to investigate this location so he can learn more about his old friend.

Waterfall Cave

The Waterfall Cave to the west of Fior mes Iverno is the secret camp for an army of Steel Garrote soldiers that is planning to attack the city.
