This guide has the full Atomfall Midsummer Isle Map, explains its points of interest, and shows you the locations of Metal Detector caches, traders, Pneumatic Tubes, and more!
Atomfall Midsummer Isle Map
The Atomfall Midsummer Isle map covers the entire region introduced in the Atomfall: Story Expansion Pack Wicked Isle. There are new items to be found here (including new weapons), new Skills (and the Training Stimulants to fuel them), and two new endings for the completionists out there.
Midsummer Isle also has its fair share of dangers — bandits, druids, and new variations of terrifying fungal mutants roam the land. Those of you brave enough to explore this zone can reap some truly excellent rewards.
Notable Midsummer Isle Locations
Here are all of the notable places you can visit in Midsummer Isle and some tips about what you can expect to find in each place.
Abandoned Village
The Abandoned Village is where you first enter Midsummer Isle. It's nominally a safe location, but there are Aquatic Ferals in the waters right near the boat where you land and Lake Bandits can occasionally be found roaming the area.
Abbey Crypt
The Abbey Crypt is where you can find the source of much of the trouble on Midsummer Isle — a separate fragment of the Oberon meteorite that landed hundreds of years ago. Unfortunately, the key room in the Abbey Crypt is locked and you'll need to find four keys to unlock it.
Abbey Ruins
The Abbey Ruins have been taken over by Abbey Druids, a splinter faction of Druids that have been corrupted by the same fungus affecting the Ferals. Explore this area with caution (and preferably, a lot of ammo).
Abbot's House
The Abbot's House is largely an abandoned location where you can view some spectral images after consuming some of the "Angel's Essence" in the Brewery Cellar, which is accessed after you progress with Bill Anderson's Lead.
B.A.R.D. Testing Grounds
The B.A.R.D. Testing Grounds is a largely empty area where you can find a bit of loot, but there isn't much else of interest here.
Brewery Cellar
The Brewery Cellar contains the "Angel's Essence," a fungal-fueled mead ingredient that can grant you some new Skills.
Brewery Orchard
The Brewery Orchard is home to the Beekeeper, a powered-up fighter who has a unique weapon and a swarm of bees to help him.
Cellar Hideout
The Cellar Hideout is the base camp for Bill Anderson, the man who takes you from Wyndham Village to Midsummer Isle via a boat.
Chemical Testing Bunker
The Chemical Testing Bunker is an abandoned B.A.R.D. facility that can only be explored after you open up the correct doors in sequence. It's packed full of approximately a dozen Thralls, so you won't want to go into here unless you have plenty of ammo or you're confident in your melee abilities against these tanky creatures.
Exploring this location is critical for one of the two new endings introduced in the Wicked Isle DLC.
Flooded Cellar
The Flooded Cellar is home to a fair amount of loot and a Training Stimulant secreted away behind a locked door.
Harvesting Cave
The Harvesting Cave is the local base camp for the Abbey Druids. There are plenty of enemies inside and a bunch of loot, along with a good opportunity to get a new weapon and some Training Stimulants.
Infested Forest
The Infested Forest is the surface camp of the Abbey Druids. Although there's some loot here, you'll likely only need to pass through this area on your way to the Harvesting Cave.
Lake Bandit Den
The Lake Bandit Den is home to Jean Hamer, the local leader of the Lake Bandits and a friendly merchant (as long as you stay on her good side). You can also find the Abbot's Head and a Training Stimulant here if you're sneaky (or if you're willing to wipe out all of the Lake Bandits inside).
Lime Kilns
The Lime Kilns mainly serve as a location to view one of the spectral cutscenes unlocked after you drink the Angel's Essence.
Observatory Tower
The Observatory Tower gives you some clues about Midsummer Isle; otherwise, there isn't much of interest here.
Scriptorium Ruins
The Scriptorium Ruins is one of the locations where you can learn a little more about Midsummer Isle.
Trader Camp
The Trader Camp is home to Jenny Coggins, one of two new traders on Midsummer Isle.
Wyndham Village
The southwestern area of Midsummer Isle is home to a small blue boat that can take you back to Wyndham Village after you've arrived on the isle.
