This guide will tell you the Atomfall Atomic Battery Locations we've found and explain how you can use these devices to power up The Interchange.

How an Atomic Battery Works in Atomfall

An Atomic Battery in Atomfall is a key item that serves several purposes, the most important of which is restoring The Interchange to full power. You will need to find a total of four Atomic Batteries for Data Stores A through D, not counting the one freebie that you'll find in the Central Processor.

When all four Data Stores are brought back online, you'll be able to open up many of the sealed doors and quarantine shutters on The Interchange map. Unfortunately, restoring power will also bring a lot of Turrets back online, so you'll have to be careful when moving through previously unpowered areas.

You'll also need to use a couple of Atomic Batteries in the Oberon Dig Site to unlock one of the game's endings. Fortunately, you can find a couple Atomic Batteries in that region, and there are also three B.A.R.D. Robots you can disable to get them, too.

Either way, once The Interchange is powered up, you will need to hold on to no more than 3 spare Atomic Batteries for future quests. Any excess Atomic Batteries you acquire can be sold to merchants; take note that Corporal "Bootsy" Hughes considers them a high-value item.

• Found next to a dead Scientist in the Central Processor of The Interchange
• Acquired by disabling B.A.R.D. Robots and stealing their Atomic Battery
• Purchased from the merchant Molly Jewitt in the Trader Camp in Slatten Dale at 26.4E, 79.1N
• Sold by Nora Thorndike in Skethermoor at Nora's Barn at 41.8E, 77.5N
• Sold by the merchant Billy Gorse in Casterfell Woods at 21.5E, 89.6N
• The Vicar in St. Katherine's Church at 33.0E, 78.8N in Wyndham Village has one in his possession. You can either blackmail him over the murder in the church to get it or kill him to get the Vicar's Key and open the chest on the upper balcony.
• Found in a small lake in Skethermoor attached to the back of a destroyed B.A.R.D. Robot at 41.3E, 78.2N
• Found on a small cliff above the glowing blue pit in the caves underneath the Castle Ruins in Casterfell Woods at 19.6E, 83.7N
• In the Vehicle Depot Store Room in Skethermoor.
• In the Oberon Dig Site Store Room, down the hall of the left building once you enter the Oberon Dig Site.
• In an open shipping container behind the meteorite in the Oberon Dig Site
