Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordescire Artifact

Another day, another quest, another area of England to explore in the Viking takeover of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. For those who have stuck with us so far, this is our fourth area of exploration: Oxenefordscire. Looking to feel like a true Viking with a little Lara Croft style thrown in? Let's find those artifacts!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordscire Artifact 1

First stop is just to the north of Petrie! To absolutely no one's surprise, this is another set of Roman ruins where you'll find a Roman artifact, in a fairly straightforward change of pace.

Onward! The town where you meet Sigurd, Buckingham, is where you'll find artifact two. Sitting on top of the longhouse, right smack in the middle of the roof, is your first cosmetic scheme for Oxenefordscire. And, for those who haven't been following our previous articles: Get ready, because this flying piece of paper is prepared to lead you through quite an obstacle course. You want cosmetic changes? You have to work for them.

Evinghou Tower, a plot-important location for this region, contains your next artifact. Surprise! It's another Roman Artifact! This one is tricky to get to. There's a goddess statue on the ground by the base of the tower, and behind that there's a crack in the rocks for Eivor to slip through. Keep going through the small cave until you come up against a grate. Using your arrows, shoot through the grate and destroy the pots/boxes/assorted obstacles on the other side.

After you've got them all, go back out the way you came and you'll find the room entrance a short ways away on your right, coming out of the cave. There's a set of movable shelves blocking the entrance, which you can now move that you've successfully destroyed the obstacles on the other side. Your prize is sitting on the table in that room.

There's an island in a lake east of Evinghou Tower which is the location of the next artifact—a good old-fashioned curse break! The curse's center is located on the island behind a breakable wall. In order to get the exploding jar to break the wall, you'll need to go to the other large island in the lake, take an exploding jar from there and hop across the lake using debris and driftwood, as well as the tops of sunken houses, to avoid getting the jar wet and arrive in one piece.

Southwest of St. Albane's Abbey, one of the raid locations, is a set of Roman ruins and your next Roman Artifact. To grab this one, find the breakable floor and then use an arrow to release the net hanging from the scaffolding above. Just make sure you're out of the way first!

Just on the edges of Hammeham, you'll find yet another boarded-over well. Break the boards, hop down the well, and grab the Lunden Treasure Hoard Map as your prize.

East of Oxeneforda is your next location, right by Eatun Barn. In Eatun Barn itself is a breakable wall, with plenty of jars around you can use to break it. Slip through the wall and follow the tunnel to its end. There's a couple other prizes in there, so make sure you look around and grab everything you can find. As for the artifact, you'll find the Oxenefordscire Treasure Hoard Map for the taking.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordscire Artifact 8

In Oxeneforda itself, just a short hop away, you'll find another Cosmetic Scheme for the taking. This one starts on the chimney on a rooftop and will also lead you on quite a chase.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordscire Artifact 9

To the West of Cyne Belle Castle is your next artifact location. Along the river you'll find some Roman ruins and, if you use your Odin Sight, an artifact marker that's underground. There is a tunnel underneath another part of the ruins that you need to slip through to go over and find another Roman Artifact. Watch out for bandits and enemies at the ruins, you may have to fight them off to claim your prize.

Next up, we head north of the Derelict Shrine of Camulus, which is quite a mouthful. You'll find a Mystery marker in this area and an old viking man repairing his longboat for one last voyage. Hop into the boat and you'll find the next part of the Rigsogur Saga laying on a table. If you want to save yourself time, the Mystery is also quick and easy to knock off the list while you're in the area.

To the east of Leah Villa Garrison, where you go on a rescue mission early in the scire's story arc, you'll find yet another troll curse stinking up the countryside. You'll need to go underground for this one and get past some poison mist, so make sure your health is high and you have at least one healing item on you, otherwise you might not make the journey back.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordscire Artifact 12

South of Evesham Abbey, I'm sure you'll be super shocked to find there are more Roman ruins and yes, they do contain a Roman Artifact. You'll need to break the floor next to the pillar with the statue on it. To do this, climb up the pillar on the opposite side of the road and grab the exploding jar. Walk across the tightrope back and then hop across the pillars until you have a clear shot to throw it at the floor.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Oxenefordscire Artifact 13

East of Thearelea Ruins you'll find your last curse break and final artifact for Oxenefordscire. This one is underground and you will also need to beware of poison mist. Once again, we recommend taking at least one healing item with you, and as always, make sure you have a few arrows in your quiver.
