Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Grantebridgescire section is likely where Mysteries might start to get tougher for you. Its Mysteries take after Ledecestrescire but push it just a little further. If you want to know how to solve them, look no further.

Make sure to check out our other Assassin's Creed Valhalla guides after you finish.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery 1

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery
Burn, Baby, Burn.

Finding your way to this location will lead to two men fighting over who owns the product they've made together. Luckily, you're here to help.

They ask you to choose a side, but who you choose doesn't matter. Go and talk to them, and they will fist fight outside. The only way of solving this is to throw a torch at all their hard work and burn down the entire farm.

You got the stones to figure this out?

The Lord and Lady - This isn't a particularly difficult mystery in a technical sense, but it's all about trial and error.

When you make your way up to the Mystery, it'll show a shape like four circles. Activate Odin-Sight to see parts of that pattern on the surrounding stones. Stand where the image below is to figure it out.

Is it a rabbit or a duck?

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery 3

Bring some rations and your fists to this one

This Mystery has you talk to two boastful children and take on a surprisingly youthful older gentleman.

Talking to the two kids at the Mystery marker will eventually call out "The Walloper," a man known for a very heavy swing. Luckily, he's fairly slow, and his attacks are choreographed. Wait for him to attack, dodge out the way, counterattack, and repeat. Doing this, you can take him on without taking a single hit.

Apples and Oranges

This is possibly the most straightforward mystery here, but it needs including!

At the Mystery location, you run into a man who needs a hand moving apples—possibly for some nefarious purpose. Pick up the box, follow him down the hill, and drop it at his feet. You're done.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery 5

"I'm not like other nudists"

In one of the strangest Mysteries in this region, you have to help a nudist prove his cause to other nudists.

Talk to the man at the top of the rock to initiate this, then walk down to the other nudists. Grab the box on the carpet and sprint back to him and drop it at his feet. This box contains all the clothes of every nudist there. Congratulations—I guess—for completing this Mystery.

Note (Winchell Bug):If you can't talk to Winchell after grabbing the box of clothes and running away, reload to a previous save. Grab the clothes and run up the hill, but wait for them to say they're backing off and you leave combat. Wait a moment or two before heading back to the rock, and you should see Winchell cheering next to his tent. You'll be able to talk to him them.

Bullheaded

Another region, another offering. This time its for much more.

This Mystery has you offer 10 small "Bullhead" to complete it. You can find these in water and can harvest them either by shooting them with arrows or by using the fishing equipment you get for building the fishery. This is one that can be done in the background whilst doing others.

God save the king

In this Mystery, you come across a self appointed king and do a little investigating.

After talking to him, turn around and investigate the shipwreck. Use Odin-Sight to spot everything and come back to him. If you choose the top dialogue option, the mystery will end. If you choose the bottom, he will attack you, and killing him will end it.

Cat in the hut

Located in the middle of a field infested with rats is a poor farmer. Help him out.

To do so, you must head south-east down the road to a shack where you spot a woman. With two charisma, you can convince her to help by sending her cats to kill the rats. Open up the hut—pet the cat if you're feeling it—and make your way back to the farmer.

Flyting without wings

Once again, flyting is back, and it's as good as ever.

The hardest part about this Mystery is starting it. If you happen across here before making the city itself friendly, you won't be able to access it. Just progress the story and you will eventually unlock it. Once that's done start. You cant bet on this one as you are supposed to win. The flyter you're against is very bad, pick any option.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery 10

The realm is safe... for now

In this Mystery, you come across a blind man who is a little too confidant in his ability to stay alive.

Light the metal frame in front of him with a torch. Then light one nearby. He will move forward and you have to follow him, lighting the way—that is, until you reach a bed of water. Head across, light the way, and kill all the bad guys to finish this Mystery.

There isn't mushroom for error

Eivor and psychedelic mushrooms go together like Eivor and pillaging. Here's another Fly Agaric puzzle.

In this, there are five red torches. All of these can be changed to blue flame. Each light corresponds with a game placed behind it. Change all those with a complete gate to blue and the rest to red.

"Pluck out his eyes"

This fight with phantom Goneril is challenging and only advised for a power 90 warrior. Go in prepared.

There's no puzzle to this one, just a pretty powerful fight. Goneril moves very fast throughout this fight. Don't go in with heavy weapons. Attack light, attack quick, and dodge a lot. Don't bother with range, just keep the pressure.

Monk-key business

In this Mystery, you find a monk acting rather suspiciously pious.

In retaliation to his boasting, light his house on fire, break his pots, destroy everything you can, and, finally, kill his cow. He will finally stand up but not do any damage to you. In his chair is a key. Take it around the back of the house and open up the small attached hut to find dead bodies strewn about. In retaliation he will fight you and—with any luck—he will die.

Degolas the smelly

This Mystery is located near a smelly hut and some conveniently placed ration supplies.

First, stock up on rations. This is needed as the green air hurts you over time. Next, head into the hut, grab all the smelly boxes, and throw them out the door. This will stop the air from hurting you. You aren't done here. Head down with the child to meet Degolas and shoot the platform from underneath him, plunging him into the water below.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery 15

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grantebridgescire Mystery
An axe hanging over you

This is perhaps the saddest story in the entirety of Grantebridgescire but also the easiest.

Sitting on a log with an axe plunged deep into his forehead is the aptly named "Axhead." He seems to be unaware of his fate and picking either option will result in you having to remove the axe. This kills him. A sad death.

And on that sad note, that's the end of Grantebridgescire's mysteries. If you are looking for guides on any other location or a review, check out the rest of our guides at TechRaptor.
