Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery

With a power level of 160, Essexe in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not something you should mess with if you aren't tough enough—just like modern-day Essex. A combined 12 mysteries and a multitude of wealth points makes this area more than a little daunting. Check out our guide for a little bit of help.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery 1

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery
Warrior's Dance

Our first Mystery is located right next to a synchronization point and references a well known Essex band—no, not Busted.

Talk to the leader Keith who will tell you how music is frowned upon by the Bishop of the Ruins. Go talk to the Bishop and beat him up. That's all you have to do.

Beorn to be wild

Located just outside of Beorn Cavern is an "Anglo-Saxon Man" and a mob of others. You need to help this situation.

He will send you into the cave to deal with a man in there who can talk to animals. His animals have only attacked in self defense. You can either kill him or the man outside to complete this Mystery

Charismajesty

A classic returns in Essexe's flyting Mystery.

After walking up to Lady Ellete, make sure to bet high and pick the following options:

"For they put all who hear them to sleep."

"I'll defeat you and banish all doubt."

"Lend a salve, for your words make me ill."

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery 4

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery
A treasure for what ales you.

This Mystery is a rather long one—the treasures of Britain always are.

Just underneath the Mystery is a cave. Head down the cave. It's fairly straight forward to get down—hold a torch and keep moving forward. After crawling through a few small spaces, you will find yourself in a cellar. A note reads, "Here lies a thirsty Giant..."

To beat this puzzle, press down your Odin-Sight and shoot all the red marks on the barrels. You may need to also shoot down other objects to see them, but you can angle it right so you never have to do that. Once every barrel is leaking alcohol, you can loot the treasure in the middle of the room.

Take me a husband

This Mystery is a very strange romantic story. Get involved, if you want.

In this, you talk to a woman near a house who informs you that her soon-to-be husband is not allowed to be involved with her due to her father's wishes. Go and kidnap him. Look northwest and travel up the hill to find a house surrounded by flowers. Talk to the man, beat him up, and bring him back. That's it done.

Good Grief

In another bizzarrely sad Mystery, this has you talk to a grieving man hearing the voice of his lost wife.

To complete this, talk to him then activate Odin-Sight. Above him is a piece of wood boarding up a window. Shoot that board and he will attack you. Kill him to finish this.

Poe-it all

Tied up in the ruins of some form of building is Aswig. You'll probably wish you hadn't saved them.

They will follow you around making poems about everything you do. Attack an animal, climb on objects, try and run away. Do everything you can in the surrounding area, then talk to Aswig and offer them 165 silver to go away. A worthwhile price.

What a Boar

Being one of the cuter animals in Essexe, Lady Trotters will only steer you wrong a little bit.

Talk to the BoarMaster and follow Lady until she finds a pair of socks. Dig near her. She will then move elsewhere; keep following her until a group of bandits show up. Kill them all to win.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery 9

Iron ore-deal

Offerings are the most simple Mystery Assassin's Creed Valhalla offers, but they are also the only one that can't be solved immediately.

This one has you give 50 iron ore. You can either go around harvesting it from obsidian on mountains or use silver to buy it from shops. Either way, 50 iron ore isn't too huge a struggle this late in the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery 10

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Essexe Mystery
The Riddler

Similar to flyting, this Mystery has you simply choose a couple of dialogue options to win.

To do this pick:

"A lock and key?"

"Bagpipes?"

"A storm?"

Wolf in sheep clothing.

This Mystery involves lonely man, a pack of wolves and a bunch of flowers.

Upon reaching this hut, it is surrounded by wolves; kill them. Then head over to the nearby grave and take the flowers with you. Go up to the door and open it to finish this Mystery

One hell of a trip

Our final Mystery is another psychedelic one.

In this, you must take the mushrooms and figure out what these shields have to do with your vision. Going from the gate to the right the flames should be: Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red.

And with that, you have finished the region of Essexe.
