Another day, another new region of England to conquer, pillage and plunder in Assassin's Creed Valhalla! For all you completionists out there, we're here with all the details on Artifact collecting in the game and trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds. This time we journey to the Eastern coast, to the region of East Anglia, with a recommended power level of 55. Let's take a look at what treasures we can dig up!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla East Anglia Artifact 1

Just to the east of Theotford Forest is where you'll find your first artifact. Arriving at a set of Roman ruins, you'll need to use an explosive jar to break the floor in front of the statue before climbing down and snagging your very own Roman Artifact. Watch out for enemies camped out around the ruins though, you'll need to dispatch them first before breaking the floor.

To the southwest of the Britannia's Watch sync point is our next stop. Inside the ruins is yet another Roman Artifact! You'll need to climb the wall to get to it, so get your grappling hooks ready.

On the north side of Elmenham, you'll find your first tattoo for the East Anglia region. Like other tattoos in this game, catching it requires chasing down the flying piece of paper over an obstacle course, and this one starts from a lookout point on the roof of the church. Try not to scare too many priests as you're doing so.

Ah, the Mercury Temple. Have you figured out the Romans were here yet? This artifact is one that requires a bit of skill to get, rather than the grab n' go method you can usually use at the ruins. The point on the map where the artifact is marked is actually pointing underwater, but not straight down. To get down below you'll need to go to the nearby circular pool area and dive down, then swim through a few corridors and break through a wooden door to get to the artifact. Best advice? Try not to drown. You'll also need to use your lunge to break through the door, but it takes a few tries to succeed.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla East Anglia Artifact 5

On the next peninsula to the north of Dunwic you'll find artifact number 5. However, as this is a curse-destroying artifact, you won't actually be getting any physical prizes to keep. Pull up on shore and check out the tower nearby. Climb to the top and then shoot out the floor of the staircase, that'll give you a clear view to destroy the cursed talisman.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla East Anglia Artifact 6

More than halfway there! Artifact number 6 is right by the Edmund's Hope sync spot in the nearby cottage. It's the Treasure Hoard Map for East Anglia, but you're going to need the key to get into the cottage first. Luckily, this can be found in the Edmund's hope ruins, shoot down the ladder in the vestibule and climb up to the second floor to grab the key off the dead guy up there. Take care and avoid the psychotic nun at the other end of the church if you're not looking for a fight.

Southwest of Brisleah Farm is one of the weirdest curse locations I've encountered yet. The spot pinpointed on the map, like with the Mercury Temple and Artifact 4 above, isn't quite accurate. To break the curse this time, you'll need to head south to where there's an excavation site a short ways off. Jump into the pit there and make your way through the underground tunnels—watch out for vipers! After you break the curse, keep heading north and you'll be able to come out the other end.

The longhouse in Northwic is our next destination and it holds the third piece of the Rigsogur Saga to find. Behind the unfortunate King Edmund's throne is a wall with some shelves in front of it. Move the shelves, scoot through the wall into the back room, and then hop up the ladder to get the Saga piece and some other assorted loot lying around.

On the other end of Northwic you'll find a new tattoo, with the starting point for the chase on this one being up a banner post near a guard wall.

Last but not least, you'll want to journey to the east of Elmenham to find your last artifact and the third curse you need to break. This time it's easy to spot, the symbol is up a tree in the middle of the afflicted area.
