Ones to watch
If you're wondering what you should be playing on Game Pass this month, we've got you covered. Here are some of our Xbox Game Pass August 2024 highlights!
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - August 7th (PC, console, cloud)
This collection packs in three remakes of classic Crash Bandicoot platformers, and they're just as razor-sharp and full of wacky humor as they ever were.
The first Crash Bandicoot is a stripped-down platforming delight, and the two sequels that followed packed in new ideas galore, including plane and submarine-based vehicle sections and even the chance to play as Crash's sister Coco.

Mafia: Definitive Edition - August 13th (PC, console, cloud)
It's all about remakes on Game Pass this month, it seems. Mafia: Definitive Edition is, as the title suggests, a remake of the classic 2002 crime sandbox game, and it's packing improved graphics and gameplay, plus a reworked score and more.
If you can't quite stand the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 and you need some old-school crime action to pass the time, then Mafia: Definitive Edition should definitely be on your Game Pass to-play list.
Atlas Fallen - August 22nd (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)
If you want to know what Deck13 did next after making 2019's The Surge 2, then look no further than Atlas Fallen, a semi-open-world action RPG set on an expansive desert planet.
With reactive combat, plenty of sidequests to complete, and three key weapons to switch between, Atlas Fallen could be your next Game Pass obsession. Our very own Rutledge certainly thinks it should be.
That's all we've got for you right now! Stay tuned for more Xbox Game Pass additions as and when we get them, and as ever, don't hesitate to let us know if we missed any!
