This guide will show you where to find each Lost Gestral in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, including a map with markers for all nine.
Lost Gestrals are one of three main collectables, though these are relatively simple to find compared to the Expedition Journals and Music Records. That's due to them all being available on the world map.
However, while you can collect the Lost Gestrals at any point, most require Esquie to have various abilities unlocked. Because of this, you're best leaving the search until later in the game (you can go back and find them after the main story is over).
After progressing through the story, Sastro will make an appearance in your camp. They're the one who managed to lose 9 Gestrals, and will give you a few rewards for finding them.
The most notable reward is the ability to break the strange structures that glow blue, found both on the world map and in some areas. This isn't required to find Lost Gestrals, but can open up access to new parts of existing areas and is sometimes needed to unlock paint cages.
Otherwise, Sastro gives you a small number of Colour of Lumina (used to equip more Luminas) and strange haircuts for most of the cast.

- East of Monoco's Station main entrance

- Beach on the north side of Coastal Cave island
- Outside Endless Night Sanctuary

- The Lost Gestral found near the Endless Tower (large bronze marker in the middle-left) is actually on a small floating island, requiring flying to access. At the marker, keep flying up almost until you reach the skybox.
