Achilles: Legends Untold Skills

Achilles: Legends Untold is finally here and with that comes tonnes of systems to learn, items to use and so much more. Luckily, there are a handful of ways to make your experience easier. Here is how Achilles: Legends Untold skills work and what you should invest in early.

How Do Levels work?

Before getting to the skills, it's important to first establish how levels work. You get a special undead currency every time you defeat an enemy. You can then build these up to bank at a shrine or continue to push forward into the world at the risk of losing them all. If you bring enough back, you can use them to level up your character.

Stats are split up primarily into constellations, all focusing on a different playstyle and build. As you go through constellations, some of them may unlock paths to new skills, meaning you are often better off committing to a line of upgrades before you spend anything. This means you may want to know the best skills before you start.

What are the best Achilles: Legends Untold skills?

The best skills will mostly depend on the type of build you invest in and the way you like to play. Over to the left is a constellation filled with skills. "Control" is a good investment, letting you fling your shield at people from a distance. This will be your only reliable ranged weapon earlier on so it's worth investing in. You could then go onto the likes of "Soul Drain" which can eventually heal you and deal damage but it has to be initiated on an unsuspecting victim. This makes it a very situational move that is not good in crowds.

This all being said, it is worth learning "Soul Drain" just so you can unlock "Cold Blood", Achilles: Legends Untold's parry system. From here, you may want to decide if you want to invest in a bruiser or a more quick fighter. If you want someone speedy, invest in endurance, vitality and the "Initiation" skill - unlocking a sprint attack.

If you want more of a tank, get strength, vitality and "Crushing Blow", a charge up attack that can bypass shields. No matter which way you go, make sure to invest in skills and stats equally - committing to a build that really works for you.
