Voidtrain is a survival crafting game developed and published by HypeTrain Digital. The game initially released into early access on PC via the Epic Games Store on August 12, 2021, before coming to Steam early access on May 9, 2023.
Set in an endless void, you man your own train which travels along ethereal tracks, gathering resources to help develop new buildings and tools. At the end of each section of the Void, you can stop at a station to explore, fight soldiers, or upgrade your train to add new and bigger platforms. You can craft a number of weapons via different modules dropped by enemies, giving them different firing properties or better stats.
The Void is also home to a number of islands. Some feature puzzles that reward you with materials and items, while others are home to dangerous creatures that must be fought off in waves. Future updates are planned to add in new areas to explore during your journey, including a full story mode and conclusion.
