Witchfire is a skill-based first-person shooter that features no cut scenes. Players will take on the life of a Preyer, normal humans that have decided to allow the church to use Pagan magic to turn them into immortal hunters.
Since these people are already sinners they have nothing else to lose. Armed to the teeth with spells and weaponry that only the most powerful Vatican sorcerers can manufacture, players must locate the witch of the Black Sea. This elusive witch has built up an army of mad phantoms to protect her, so it will be your job to demolish all who stand in your way to defeat the witch and take the mysterious artifact in her possession.
The game is a mix between a first-person shooter and a roguelite, and the developers say even those who do not enjoy the roguelite genre will enjoy this game. Witchfire offers players a challenging Souls-like experience that grants satisfaction after each kill and allows players to choose their own path to reign victorious over the witch of the Black Sea.
