The Cycle: Frontier is a new game from YAGER, in which players drop onto the surface to collect the materials needed to complete contracts, upgrade their gear, and take on more powerful enemies and areas. Drop onto Fortuna III to explore different areas, but watch out, other players will be competing for materials and may try and take them from you. With 3 factions, a crafting system, and an upgradable apartment there's a lot you can do to step up your drops and ensure you survive long enough to return back to the station with all of your stuff!
Originally launched as "The Cycle" in 2019 on the Epic Games Store, the original gameplay was closer to a battle royale's gameplay, mixed in with a points-based system in which players would compete to complete as many tasks as possible to climb the leaderboards for better rewards at the end of the match. It was relaunched in 2021 with a whole new gameplay loop that is more similar to Tarkov, on Steam and has had a few Closed Betas before the 1.0 launch on June 8, 2022.
