Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is a remake of the 2006 Wii launch title Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. It features all of the original game's single-player levels as well as several new additions. The visuals have been reworked along with the user interface, and Sonic the Hedgehog features as an unlockable extra character.
Instead of the 50 minigames present in the original, there are now 10 minigames, reworked and enhanced for modern platforms, including online leaderboards. You can also control your monkey in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD with a regular controller instead of the original motion-based Wii Remote controls. Glory hallelujah!
