Sniper Elite 5 is the sequel to Sniper Elite 4 and comes with several enhancements and fun features that the game's predecessors did not have.
Sniping is put front and center in Sniper Elite 5, as well as an enhanced kill cam to really see those bullets strike your target. The game showcases the most immersive and expansive maps to date, allowing the player to feel like they are there alongside the action. With several stunning locations that are based on real-world locations, players will find themselves in extremely detailed environments that have been created using photogrammetry. With the update to the traversal systems, players will be able to explore the new vast expanses more so than ever before.
Each new area with a mission now has several infiltration points along with multiple extraction points, allowing players to choose their own path. For those who don't want to take on the campaign alone, the game has a co-op feature that lets players bring a buddy. Ammo and items are now shared among both you and your partner, and both players can give orders and heal each other as you take on some of the most deadly forces in France.
Sniper Elite 5 also features zip lines to cover more ground in less time than the previous games, as well as the ability to slide down slopes and make your way across ledges. Using each of these new features allows you to reach the best vantage point possible but be sure to take the wind, your heart rate, and gravity into consideration while lining up those headshots.
Several new customizations have been added to the workbench, allowing players to customize nearly every inch of their weapon. This includes things like stocks, magazines, barrels, and more. More so, players can choose between lethal and non-lethal ammo types to ensure they are using the best tactics for their specified targets.
