The Signifier is a surreal adventure game from indie developer playmestudio.
Play as Frederick Russell, an expert in AI and psychology, who is behind the deep brain scanner called the Dreamwalker. With this new technology, Russell can walk between different dimensions of reality in a multi-layer narrative that eventually spirals into a complex web of intrigue and suspense.
The Signifier has you move between three worlds to solve puzzles, unlock new dialogue branches, and unravel the mystery growing around you. Every challenge you face is part of the mystery around you, and you will need to use every trick you have, including psychological concepts as your own weapon for navigating the world of the unconscious.
