Samurai Maiden is a hack and slasher where the player is a high school student summoned to slay undead while also establishing relationships. Players are Tsumugi Tamaori, a high school student summoned in her sleep to the historic Sengoku period. With her amazing sword skills and her new friends, Tsumugi will attempt to defeat the evil that's been unearthed at the Honnoji Temple.
Tsumugi will use combination attacks and counters to defeat the zombies and tough bosses that she'll face, but she won't do it alone. In order to maximize abilities, players will need to build and maintain relationships with three friendly ninjas in the Honnoji Temple and spend time with them while they're not hacking your way through hordes of enemies.
Samurai Maiden arrives on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on December 8, 2022.
