Pokemon Sword and Shield represents the next generation of the smash hit collaboration between Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Creatures Inc. The latest game in the Pokemon franchise brings with it several serious changes to gameplay including a more robust open world, the ability to "Dynamax" your Pokemon into giants, and more!
While the game seems like what many of us have hoped for, a later announcement after its reveal to the world told us that we wouldn't be getting a National Pokedex with this game. That, unfortunately, means that we won't be able to bring some of our favorite Pokemon with us into Pokemon Sword and Shield.
